New week, new schedule. Managed to bring back one third of the settlement, and will do some testing to fix the issue with the lag and frame drops to continue enjoying this little game. Hope you see you there!

Look at the amazing stuff my wife made for herself! Pure sorcery, I tell you.

Joke's on you, my option is Marry for all of them.

Should I feel bad that the first time I saw the pictures on the left I thought "... is that Mike Wazowski as a vampire with his eye almost closed and looking to one side?"

I adore Slayers; my favorite anime from way back when I was a young lad! Were any of these games translated and brought to the West? Maybe a fan translation patch somewhere?

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

From the monster or the player character?

120

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 23/05/2026

I think I remember playing that game. It was such a pain in the arse, especially when your Digimon died and you had to start over again so you had to waste time growing the Digimon to continue the story that required you to have a stronger Digimon

My wife is working on something for me to show off during next week's stream. I wonder if people will guess what game I might be tackling. I wonder if such an obscure hint will be helpful enough.

I remember loving this movie when I was a kid; I recall it being pretty good. Then again, as a kid I really didn't understand much of what the movie was about and why people where hunting Batman down.

I knew I had a reason I didn't like him; Urianger is my boy.

The Thistle Clan is 200 members strong! I am over the Moon when I got the message during the Discworld stream. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for giving me a chance and sticking around. Onwards to more and better times together!

A new year and a new Recap; steady progress that I have all of you to thank for. With one follower away from 200, and slowly pushing myself to be better and bring up more content when available, I look forward to seeing the lengths I can reach alongside all of you.

3.- Aye, still post there; mostly posting the schedule and replying to some of the mutual people that still are there.

My beloved snep wife @catseathedeville.bsky.social drew this lovely picture of yours truly. Send her art some love, and if you want one for yourself, her Vgen is there too!

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 27/10/2025

I love the Kaito Files; you guys are going to have a blast!

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 22/10/2025

Disgaea 4 has to be the one with my favorite story overall, showing how demons, humans and angels live in a sort of symbiotic relationship to keep each other existing. Fear the Great as a concept was also really interesting, especially the special ending after fighting its creator.

030

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

It's a REALLY good movie, so can't say I blame you.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 10/10/2025

Tomorrow I will start my Dark Souls SL1 challenge run. It would mean the world if during this time of spooks and suffering that our beloved Thistle Clan reached 200 members strong. Whether it happens or not, there will be pain, there will be suffering, but there will be victory.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

I ragequitted Serious Sam: The First Encounter three times before I finally beat it.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

Without a doubt, this one. And its sequels.

000

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 29/08/2025

Big fan of the aesthetic; looking forward to it!

020

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 05/07/2025

You know what? I'd mess around with this one.

000

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 04/07/2025

I love smithing, so I'm definitely looking forward to trying this one!

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 04/07/2025

Why does he kinda look like Billy Mitchell, though?

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 01/07/2025

I would even say let's go straight to winter.

000

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 25/05/2025

In Spanish, at least European Spanish, we call it "piña".

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 11/05/2025

He kinda looks like Bruce Campbell. Now I want a LOTR movie with Ash from the Evil Dead as Aragorn, chainsawing through orcs.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 18/04/2025

I used to watch this guy's speedrunning videos where he dismantled cheaters and showed some new records. After this fiasco, I don't think I can even listen to his voice again. Even though I heard his voice when I read your comment.

000

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 06/04/2025

Man, this brings me back; haven't seen Naga fanart/cosplay art in what feels like decades now!

030

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

My background is in linguistics, so it happens more often than I'd like to admit.

000

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

Don't you love it when you get so pissed at people asking you stuff in a language that you learn to masterfully say "I don't speak X language" in that language and people think you're just messing with them because of how fluently you say it?

100

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

Still far better than anything I could manage.

000

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

We don't care about The Game Awards here, we celebrate the Cacowards.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Everyone's here looking to The Game Awards and I am here looking at the calendar, seeing it's December and going "Hell yeah, the Cacowards are coming!"

020

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

2.- I still use Twitter, but not much else. My Facebook is only around to keep in touch with the in-laws, really.

120

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

1.- I'm not the most... you'll call a social media butterfly, terribly awful at it, but I thought it would be nice to be here with most of the people who aren't too keen on the bird app anymore. So... broadening horizons not keeping all eggs in one basket and all that.

110

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Eh, why not? Could be interesting and people might get to know me a wee bit better.

120

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

This is just your average Yakuza main character doing back up singing. Same energy, I love it.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 19/11/2024

Even with requests, I feel the point should still stand; I usually approach artists who regularly draw certain body types or proportions that I look for; bonus points if I see them drawing a character or two that are personal favorites of mine.

000

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 19/11/2024

You'd think many commissioners would look for artists who are specialized in certain fields to approach them with the idea that matches their style/preference knowing they'd do the best job with it, but by the sound of it, that seems to be more of an exception than the rule.

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 11/11/2024

Fiancée is coming to spend two weeks with me, so I won't be streaming during that time. I promise I will return to continue with the streams. Take care until then, and see you all soon!

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 05/11/2024

Being a fellow countrymare certainly helps, I'll give her that. And she really looks great with her mane loose during the Nightmare Night episode.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

I've always loved multiheaded characters with each character having their own unique, sometimes contrasting, personalities.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

I guess this is me showing my age, but I swear one of the first things that came to mind was the "WOLOLO" from the monks in Age of Empires.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

I guess we have to have something to balance all the good stuff you throw at us XD

000

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

This is giving me Disgaea flashbacks with those over the top attack animations. Sign me up!

020

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

I know, right? I created this today and I was surprised to see how many are coming to say hi and bid me welcome. I was fearing I'd be in a new void here, but glad to see I was wrong.

010

Thistle Thorn @thistlethorn.bsky.social · 17/10/2024

Really cool and memorable setpiece; looking forward to playing the finished product!
