I don't think the neck was intentional. I think he was shot at center mass. Shooters hopped up adrenaline or less practiced jerk the trigger and pull the shot to the right. I think it was almost a miss.

I've had the privilege of shooting some of the military's dedicated long range weaponry like the Mk13 MOD 7, Barrett MRAD, and the Barrett M107. I'm still an iron sight snob for mid range rifles, and agree. That looked a lot like a basic .223 or 5.56, I guess we'll find out more as it comes out.

Jokes aside, it's likely that this was nearly a miss. Shooter was likely aiming for his head. A common mistake in hobby shooters is jerking the trigger which pulls the shot down and to the right.

From looking at the multiple angles of the shot, the way it tore into his neck, it looked like a rifle round. Just my speculation. People from the high ground shot looked to the right as well, making me think it was likely a rifle based on range alone.

I lost my sister today in 2018, she was the reason I introduced myself to my wife and her now deceased brother. My love is a constant reminder of mortality and loss but also the only thing I have to hold onto both of them. It's a wonderful and wretched thing.

Over the months of watching our cat stoically stand up to cancer, as he falters, it's catching up to me. He's the last of our original pets when my wife and I met 17 years ago. It puts me in an identity tailspin of sorts, who are we without him? We'll still be pet owners. Just much sadder ones.

I've been playing since days after it came out. Never complained about the glitches because I was all too consumed by the story and with tweaking my own storyline. ~ command prompt users unite! I have well over 3,000 hours, and this isn't the only game I have over 2k hours into.
