All right, I liked LANTERNS overall, and no spoilers, but….it was a pretty perfect expression of the “surf dracula” tweet from a few years back.

No. Other way around. "You don't belong HERE" is where it started from. The Holocaust was the ultimate expression of that sentiment, and that sentiment is the reason Israel now exists: so that Jews have a place they *do* belong, no matter what.
