Some new minis! I don't often do brights, but this one felt like it was very much needed. I wanted to add some brightness to the dreary wet weather, so I came up with something almost completely opposite of it. 🌦️

I've been juggling yarn show prep with writing and house stuff, so it feels pretty nice to be taking some time to knit a little each evening again. Even if it technically is work knitting.... I'm even doing the thing you should do with hand dyed yarn and alternating ma balls!

Inspired by Hannah Kaner's newest novel and with her admiring approval, here is a colourway to capture the rich darkness of A Snake Among Swans - a grimdark fantasy retelling of the Wild Swans by Hans Christian Andersen that weaves fantasy, folklore & history into a tale of feminine rage & revenge.

Have you seen our pride potion stitch markers and charms? These are the original 10 and over time we've also added the Aromantic, Agender, Ace Spectrum, Polyamoury, Genderfluid and Omnisexual flags. Though as we're restocking some of the flags we can always add more... What flags would you like?

What do you do with your offcuts and scrap fabric? I've been doing fun things with the scraps I've built up over time. Patchwork can be particularly meditative, and I think the embroidery I'm considering on this piece will be as well. I'm open to more ideas as my scrap pile grows!

Here is a Mini Skein Set inspired by River Has Roots by Amal El-Mohtar! I listened to the audiobook whilst dyeing the colourways and it was beautifully and lyrically haunting. I highly recommend listening, especially if you are a fan of faeries and poetic prose!
