Some of the sketches in classic Sesame Street episodes were straight up terrifying to a three-year-old. The King of Eight ending with that shrieking goblin-looking jester thing? The surreal fever nightmare of the Lost Boy animation? HORROR SHOW. The music still strikes terror into my heart.

I got to do scratch art with a lot of 12-year-olds at their middle school Juneteenth festival yesterday and they were so awesome and surprisingly into doing scratch art?? My fingernails are still all black today but it was worth it. And today I have the day off. Happy Juneteenth!
