At each stop of the tour, people from frontline fights against data centers and activist orgs gave speeches highlighting their stories and struggles. There are 4,000+ centers already built, and 3,000 + planned. Electricity rates are skyrocketing, public hand outs given to tech greed. Fight back!

We demand a moratorium on all new data centers. The tech oligarchy is building ever more data centers to fuel the AI bubble, worsening climate change, for the sake of greed. Today a coalition of orgs are marching on D.C. techno elite, with stops at Meta, Open AI, and Microsoft. The Technostate tour ends with a protest outside Data Center World a major AI conference. Each data center may consume a city's worth of water and electricity – mostly generated by fossil fuels.
