My wife (who knows me so well) got this for me this week. Apple Watch Ultra for scale.

Well this is kind of fun. Hold Option to get a slider to open/close the Duo in Device Hub.

I made an update to an app I haven't told you about! Introducing KeepCount: a ridiculously simple (by design) scorekeeper, tally counter, tool for whatever you want to keep track of. In the latest update, it gains widgets + Siri support, making counting even easier! www.tylerhillsman.com/keep-co...

@stickywidgets.app is better than ever with Siri in iOS 27. Create a note easily, ask about existing notes, jump straight to what you're looking for. Combined with the new patterns feature + extra large widget, it's never been easier to interact with Sticky Widgets. www.tylerhillsman.com/sticky-...

Kindle's default naming of devices really puts me in my place.

Apple Sports needs a "give me Live Activities for every game in a competition" setting. Until then, I'm a fan of literally every team.

We were there 10 months too early!

This is the absolute best. 😍

And just like that, more than 50,000 users are seeing Guild Ad banners every week.

Also if Steve came back, I’m guessing he didn’t have the same level of influence since we’d run an “iOS 6” on Newtons. By proxy, Jony wouldn’t have the power to slim down those chonkers (but apparently was able to slip a slim Helvetica into that version).

If the Soviets landed on the moon first, we'd have had a Vision Pro without an external battery in 2012.

It's a good day to break out these classics.

Reading the news of the day, I was reminded of a CD-ROM I spent hours using on our first-gen iMac in the late 90s. (This one anecdote tells you way too much about young me.) chatgpt.com/share/68fb7726-4b...

Maybe it's not as sexy as your credit-card-thin Air, but I'm having more fun than ever shooting with the Pro.

This feels a little like being inside the Death Star (except they're playing the trashcan-bangers). It's also Old-Timer's Day which was objectively cool.

I'm asking Apple's Foundation Model about itself. (It's cagey and often throws guardrailViolation errors, but fortunately it's also non-deterministic.)

It’s been interesting to see how different UIs handle the cityless A’s baseball team of 2025. I followed MLB, ESPN, etc’s lead of just calling them the “Athletics” with an abbreviation of “ATH” in Pennant but it’s fun to see where that might break down. “Athletics Athletics” in MLB’s Game Story.
