Tesla’s sales continued to crash in Europe in February, with the first few markets reporting car sales data confirming the American automaker’s ongoing troubles in Europe 💕 Now replace Starlink as fast as posible!

So starting to replace US tech - checked out some browser alternatives to google chrome. Choose to go with Vivaldi...easy to set up and you can easily import all bookmarks you have on google chrome.

I will start to replace most of the software and tools I use (mostly us software like gmail etc.) with European alternatives - any suggestions? What are some cool tools coming from the EU?

I’m now 90% done with automating sponsor identification in newsletters. This will not only save me a lot of time but also allow me to add hundreds of new sponsors daily 🔥

Tobi Hikari @thikari.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

I think job board owners are sleeping on Sparkloop. Every job board collects emails and sends new job posts daily/weekly. So just join Sparkloop, add their newsletter recommendations pop-up, and get paid some extra 💸.

I need to stop reading tweets from the "right tech crowd" about how messed up Europe is—free speech this, MAGA that—and just start watching Friends from the beginning.

Finished the analytics part of the sponsor page - data is not yet 100% accurate but I like it. Creators can now see the annual revenue, marketing budget, and above all estimated newsletter ad spend. Also added a Sponsorgap score calculated from the data I have.

Tobi Hikari @thikari.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

Added new trending sponsor 📈 calculation to the dashboard view: The calculation is based on: 30 days Total mention Appearance in different newsletters

I think I'll focus mainly on brands with newsletterscan.com I now have over 3000 topics created from newsletter I am analyzing. Use case: If a brand wants to promote e.g. a new calendar tool they can target the right newsletters by finding the ones already writing about it.

Totally re-set up the sitemaps for sportstechjobs.com as the pages got de-indexed in google. Also trying to improve the page content so hopefully this will get me back to the traffic I had a couple months ago

If other social media platforms would have a starter pack feature (and would bet that they will implement it soon) a lot of "Get followers on XYZ platform" would be totally obsolete!

Experimenting with creating a AI Avatar - tried out HeyGen and Synthesia. Both feel a bit buggy and missing an easy way to change the background of the video. Also quite expensive. Any other tool I could try out? Could be good product to build for indiehackers

If I think some years back it was totally nuts that something like this would happen - if countries like the US, Brazil etc. really start to build up a bitcoin reserve I am really curious how high the BTC is in a couple of years. www.theblock.co/post/328448/...
