Samen met @thijsvos.bsky.social en Denny van der Vlist @polscileiden.bsky.social richten we ons informele politiek. We vinden dat vrijwel alle politici informeel overleggen, met hun eigen fractie, coalitiefracties en bestuurders. En dat met name populistische politici dit minder vaak doen.

Out now! Met Thijs Vos en Denny van der Vlist dook ik in de informele politiek op het lokale niveau. We laten zien dat gemeenteraadsleden, zeker van de coalitie, zeer regelmatig overleggen met andere raadsleden. plc-journal.eu/article/view...

Dat lijkt evident maar dit is om twee reden toch belangrijk. Ten eerste omdat Thijs en ik veel schrijven over het gebruik van formele instrumenten en wij allerlei aannames maken over waarom bv. oppositieraadsleden dit vaker doen dan coalitieraadsleden.
