Yeah, not trying to defend the ghosting or anything. I absolutely agree that they should not take on any work if they cannot fulfill it. I just think its nice that theyre honest about the struggle, even thoigh they had to be called out on it.

Probably depression or another form of mental struggle that keeps people from drawing. I am sadly notoriously prone to procrastination and thats the very reason I do not want to offer any form of commission. I'd be unable to push myself to do them.

Hey, at least they're honest about suffering from depression. That can really put a wall of concrete in front of trying to draw. Hope they're better now and that you have received your requested work.

My condolences. Hopefully they manage to get away from politics-influencers and streamers. That stuff is poisonous due to its intrinsic nature. I feel like the whole notion of "I have to be loud and vibrant or I will not stay relevant longterm" is an anathema to healthy political discourse.

I think it really depends on the style you're going for. As a rule of thumb, you want to draw as few individual lines as possible. Hairmass always looks better when you're keeping it vague and only draw a few "highlight" strands and clusters. Its different for very realistic hair-rendering imo.
