I found my history class in college to be pretty bad, but they explain the sabotage pretty well. Held in a large room with about 100 students. Too large for discussion or questions, just regurgitation.

I feel like the other bands had a delay in dropping. He had time to confer with them to see what they wanted to do, but he made the choice for them, expecting they would follow. I don't think Mackelmore expected the fallout to Ed, but he is happy for the spotlight on Palestine.

He held so many of the cards against Kraft and could have threatened publicly dragging him and not playing at their stadiums, but he wanted to just acquiesce and claim he had no choice. His bands proved they all had a choice and he chose the unpopular one.

The lack of introspection seems common among those at that level of fame. He feels like everyone abandoned him; ignoring the abandonment of Mackelmore. His bands wouldn't have left if he had talked to them first and realized they would rather cancel than continue.

This seems to apply to all situations. When someone has to claim that they are the "greatest" at something, oftentimes they are average at best. True greats don't have to repeat it, and most skilled people are humble, realize there is always someone better and try to improve.

Companies need to stop being given a pass when willingly breaking the law. A person wouldn't just be fined for this, the leadership needs to be held responsible otherwise these fines are nothing more than fees happily paid.

I know they frame it as "it broke the rules", but it is a computer program. It does what it is told to do, if you give it a choice tree and it goes down a path you didn't think it would go, you still told it to do that. They want people to think it is more than it is, a glorified autocorrect.

How often do you have voice actors message you with questions during a single book? Are the questions more about the tone and feeling of the character during a passage? I would think word choice would be locked in to the book text.

Sounds like you miss the interactions and shared love of the experience. I still think about my favorite boba I had in Seattle. Definitely touristy, but had malt flavored. It was so good and not something I expected. My next favorite is basic...milk tea :D
