A 3D bust of a Hastur Priest, one of the bad guys in the latest. The logline is: As horrified as cancer survivor Claire is when her estranged, fugitive, billionaire father shows up at her door, things get worse when a tsunami from Lake Michigan hits the city, trapping them in her building together.
A 3d bust of a creepy, Cthulhu type, tentacled face.

81 page vertical micro #horror #script in the bag. It's going pretty well but I'd like rewrite help if there are volunteers. It begins with an impossible Lake MI tsunami trapping a cancer surviving woman with her estranged, criminal billionaire father in her lakefront Chicago condo. Hilarity ensues.
Submersible underwater in front of a giant eye.

I've had issues with "The Boys" over the years, and yeah, I had a few with the finale, even though I liked it overall. That being said, Frenchie's Eulogy/Last Will, at the opening of the series finale? Best. Eulogy. Ever. Ever. I was 💀. Fittingly.

After months of trying different 3d face tracking and animation effects to get facial expressions for our horror/comedy short "Fortune", After Effects' Liquify and 2d tracking made this demon smile easy. Seriously. No 3d. And mos def no AI. Sometimes dudes just complicate ish. #aftereffects #creepy

Just finished the 110 page first draft of my Caribbean set zombie horror/comedy "Teshawn of the Dead." Whoot. I'm pretty giddy.

And, finally, this is a Dystopian, but ultimately uplifting Scifi riff on Santa.

Here's the Coverfly page for "Maiden," just because the site closing is heartbreaking. I'm not sure why it's so affecting, but...yeah. Anyway, here's to it. #coverfly

Since we're doing this, my Coverfly scores. The service will definitely be missed.

After nearly two years, a lot of shorts, and another feature script, I'm still really in love with my script "Maiden." I don't know if you're supposed to say that, but yeah. I just am. "I like this kid best." In that light, here are the 7 scoring Black List eval notes. Just cuz I wanna feel better.

BTS test of the monster in my latest short, “Fortune:” When a man refuses to tip his delivery driver, he receives a fortune cookie that reads “you will die in 4 minutes.”

Two sequences from "Mulholland Drive" will live forever in my head, not just rent free, but I'm paying their monthly mortgage: I will always love D. Lynch. Always. Cuz there's a large part of my brain he will always own.

Since "tis the season" and my producer friend dug the script, I thought I'd share some of the reader notes from this AFF Second Rounder, "Nicholas 2132: The True Story Of Santa Claus." It's the tale of an altruistic, time traveling thief whose adventures form the basis of the legend of St Nick.
This is a really fun script that was a blast to read. There was some uncertainty around if this was going to be a campy sci-fi that tried a bit too hard to make things fit together. However, the plot is incredibly unique to what is known of the legends and stories of Santa Claus while still managing to fit moments in that nod back to those. The plotting and structure are very well handled, and the story feels firmly rooted in the four quadrant Christmas movie scene. This is good, because the budget for this would be quite high, but four quadrants are evergreen, so less of a risk. Find key moments here and there were the dialogue can be a touch less direct -- emphasis on "here and there" and "a touch" -- the issues in this script are very minimal.

Finally, this morning, I just said "screw it," and shot all of the footage I needed, live action, in front of a green screen. And it looks great. Yeah. Sometimes you just need to get out of your way, and just get it done. Ok. 198th time learning this lesson, but here we are. Shrug. 2/2

Since we're sharing, this is the pitch deck cover for my latest, "Good Neighbors:" "When an African American man's wife leaves him in the middle of the night, his creepy, voyeuristic neighbor assumes he's killed her and begins a campaign of harassment in this modern retelling of 'Rear Window.'"
