Rough sketch for one of a trio of characters I'm working on. This is Claudia Brunner, Squire to the Knights Polaris. I'd best describe her as Nausicaä with a mix of Asuka and Makima.

Since it's Pokémon's 30th anniversary this year I wanted to draw something to celebrate the franchise that has been part of my life for pretty much all of it. Here's to another 30 years.

A Pokemon trainer laying on a grass hill underneath a tree as the sun beams down. The trainer is wearing jeans, a jacket and toque while also cuddling with Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle who are all splayed out around them.

Rose has been slowly diving into One Piece. We started with the live action and I'm slowly introducing her to aspects of the manga. Today she learned about Pandaman.

Pictured here is a thief of chairs. Do not be fooled by the softness or cuteness, she is a criminal of the highest caliber.

An adorable tuxedo cat on a computer chair. She lays on her back, paws up very cute. Not a single thought behind her eyes.

Did the 9 games thing. Honorable mention to Ultima Online, Knight's of the Old Republic, and Fallout 2.

Main character #2 concept done! Meet Aralyn, a pro on the fighting circuit waiting out a ban. She is currently playing New Era Online to keep her skills sharp.

A martial artist stands in a Wushu inspired posed. She has dark skin, textured hair kept up in small poofs. Her attire, hair and stance are clearly a reference to Chun Li. Next to her is a piece of equipment known as "Wraps of Defiance" which look like normal bandages for the hands. In the bottom right is a leverless gaming pad which has 16 buttons on it.

Little snack for this little snack, then back to character designing! I'm gonna try textured hair with this character.

Pretty happy with how this all came out. Meet Aralyn, returning to one of her favourite MMO's after over a decade of distance.

A young woman, an adventurer of some sort, holding a staff behind her. The staff is crooked at the top with the crook seemingly made from some kind of organic substance like seashells. An orb floats in between the two points of the crook.

On the right there is also a tattoo, twin spirals on separate sides of an orb, one side pointed up and the other pointed down. There is also a bangle with runic engravings.

She has hair now. Not super happy with the flow of the ponytail so may adjust it.

"Let my kiss linger on your lips, like your most favourite poison." Wanted to draw my favourite ship from The Apothecary Diaries since it's coming back next month.

Loulan and Maomao lean close together, with Loulan gently tilting Maomao's chin up. They look to be about to kiss, or have just kissed as Maomao has remnants of Loulan's lipstick on her lips.

An adorable tuxedo cat sleeping comfortably on the back of a coach. Her little arms are splayed out, piggies on full display.

And here it is, my first full digital drawing! Wanted to create a sort of OC/Artist Persona so you'll likely be seeing more of Kay-TV!

A feminine woman in a cherry and heart patterned sundress. She has a television for a head and is wearing a smile, though her smile has static within.

Drawing some stuff, experimenting with shadows and different brushes.

Several ink drawings. A handheld game system, a pair of sneakers, a pile of books, and a small box.

Interview done, and I think it went well (I really never know though, I am not good at selling myself. But please enjoy this image of a cursed head I found while waiting.

A doll head (possibly from Monster High) of a girl with blue skin, heterochromia eyes of blue and green, and hair that is white, pink, yellow, and black.

Update to show the new cover that a friend (Prufrock) drew depicting Wren crawling from her own grave. Hell yeah!

A young woman with blue hair clad in what might have once been a beautiful dress crawls from her own grave, a crazed look on for her face as she pulls herself out of the dirt.

It's #PortfolioDay again. I really suck at doing any kind of self promotion, but I am still actively looking for work (writing/editing). I'm a trans woman and a lot of my stories focus on found family, queer identity/discovery, and/or maintaining hope in dark times. Portfolio: thewritekc.carrd.co

Woman has existential crisis in space cleaning up the debris of a war.

Snarky musician discovers a record store that may or may not be evil.

I decided to fuck with it more. Added a DNA strand to the hair sweep since the story involves science stuff like that. NOW I'm done... probably.

I think I'm gonna call it done. I feel like if I mess with it any more I'll screw it up.

Worked a bit more on the cover. Next thing I tackle will be hair then re-doing her mouth. I think I need to work on the wound entrance/exit also, and maybe some blood?

Pencil sketch of a young woman in a fancy dress, she is reaching up to pull an arrow/crossbow bolt from her neck.
