I've been mulling over a couple of monochrome #linocutprints and in the process I returned to this little print. In RIVER BEND I tried to capture that magic moment the light starts to shape the world around us. A monochrome approach felt perfect for it. What do you think? #blockprinting

THE KISS, Unframed & framed: What a difference a frame does, don't you think? The moment I changed from an 8x8 frame (the size of the paper) to a 16x16 one with a wide mat board this print popped in a way that truly made me happy. So now I only display it on that bigger frame 😍 #linocut #printmaking

There are still 2 spots available for the August 16-23 workshop, let me know if you have any questions! Jigsaw Printing is really fun because it allows you to get a full color print in one go. This #printmaking method is really special and joyful, to be honest, I just want to spread the word!

Layer 2! I continue being enamored of these middle stage prints for some reason 🤓 Crossed fingers that the next two, very crucial, blocks work their magic too! But I must be patient and let these completely dry for the next one... #Printmaker #multiblockprint #linocut #eastbaycraft #berkeleylife

For #printpromptmonday #process a glimpse at today's #ink mixing explorations at my studio. To find the right blue, I created mixes adding burnt sienna, raw umber, or a tiny amount of black and extender. I did this with 3 different starting blues and played with proportions until I found my blue!

First layer of WILL BLOOM AGAIN, a reduction print. I think a lot about the titles of my prints and I often see them as an inseparable part of the piece in itself. Like a story or a poem made of both images and words... What does this title tell you? #linocutprint #reductionprint #printmaker
