Keep seeing swifties who have Taylor Swift albums they don't like. Which is 100% fine and I'm guessing pretty normal and common. I genuinely like all of her albums. I don't like them all equally and def have my favorites, but I really like them all. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Taylor is going to do whatever *she* wants to do. whether you approve of it or not. She's spent her entire career singing about her life and experiences (sometimes hidden behind/mixed in with other people's experiences). Why tf would people think anything about that would change after 20 years?

the thing about the people who hate that Taylor keeps writing songs about how much she loves Travis is that... she's not going to stop. she is a stubborn head-strong lady. so people better get used to it and the more they moan and groan and tell her to stop, the more she will continue to do it. ❤️‍🔥

one thing that is truly amazing about Taylor is that every album of hers has at least 1 song (if not more!) that i would put on my All Time Favorite Taylor Swift Songs list. every. single. album. Even the TVs. And The Encore is no different. I have never experienced this with any other artist.

Taylor will eventually surpass the Beatles to become the best selling artist of all time. It's just a matter of time. Especially since her supposed "worst album" broke the record for the biggest opening week for an album in modern history. Can you even imagine how what will happen for TS13???

why do people think calling Taylor Swift "cringe" will make us hate her? um. that's one of the reasons I love her. I love that she is awkward and not cool and weird. She was and will never be a cool kid, even when she is, by all accounts, a "cool kid." doesn't matter. she'll never be and i love it.

My theory on the A12 & A16 sign in the bts photo of the Eras Tour is that A16 is for Debut (TV) and I think it will be April 16th because it will be its 20th anniversary and it is always associated with the spring.

That would be dangerous for her and everyone at the airport. She has to fly for her job, the same as countless other people in the world. And especially as a famous woman living within patriarchy, she has to think about safety in ways that men do not. All famous women do.

I was mainly talking about her in a US context, but such a good point and so interesting. I feel like that was how it was for a long time in the US too, outside of swifties, not a lot of folks knew about her, or they only knew 1 or a few of her big pop hits like Love Story or Shake It Off.

I say this because even my non-swiftie friends messaged me about the engagement. Taylor has reached a level of fame that is no longer about ebbs and flows, she has become a fixture, a constant w the general public. Honestly, it's not even about her music anymore, it is so much bigger than that now.

Once you fully accept it as it is, then it can begin to reveal itself to you. In some ways it feels similar to reputation. Everyone thought rep was going to be something different than it was and for those who couldn't let go of that, it colored their reception of such a great album.

I wonder if TTPD didn't take as well bc people were trying to make it something it is not. You can't compare it to anything else. Not what you hoped it would be or what your fav of Tay's previous albums is. To love TTPD, you have to accept it as it is and not try and squeeze it into something else.

Speak Now, Red and TTPD are all unapologetically break-up themed albums and I'm here for it all. I love the sadness, the bitterness, the yearning/longing, the pain, messiness, anger, love and new love. I love how even the non-break up songs are still colored with break-up-ness. I LOVE THEM.
