Hovmoller charts will be on TWO later this week. This is from today's ECMF 00Z run. 1. 500hPa ridges and troughs for longitudes 210°W to 90°E, averaged over 40°N to 60°N 2. Blues are troughs; oranges are ridges 3. The vertical axis represents time 4. A bigger tilt means a more mobile pattern
