I'm trying my best to make #music for my game. In the end, I ended up getting a classic piece (that's public domain, of course) and adapting it to chiptune. It's difficult to adapt something like this into three channels. #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev #DaemerasCurse #Devlog

I was going to #stream my game, but I'm currently overhauling stuff in it and is therefore completely unplayable at the moment. But I'll do that eventually. Also, sorry if I haven't answered DM's. This month has been extremely depressing to me and I'm trying to recover.

Wait, I did get a third "happy birthday". And then an immediate "buy my game". My birthday was used to advertise a product. I suppose that's all I get.

Watching my other September friends get showered with birthday gifts and praise while I simply get a "happy birthday" from two people is a special kind of hell. But at least I know how important I am to people. I'm just the guy to call if something is broken. Nothing more.

Only the real ones know that ProtonVPN's US free server #117 is the absolute worst one. Not because it's slow or glitched--in fact, it works fine. It's because it's in Texas, where certain "sites" are banned and many websites require your ID. #VPN #Proton #IDVerify

I haven't even thought about doing a birthday #stream on the 22nd. Should I do a full playthrough of my game? Should I play something else? Should I just do an #IRL? It's not like I get many viewers either way, but I want to at least try. #VTuber #Streaming #IndieDev

And yes, you can gather these in my game, Daemera's Curse. I'm hoping I can finish a demo of this game and upload it to itch this month. The demo is a prequel to the events of the main game, and I think I'll call it "Daemera's Curse: Revelation". #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameMaker #DaemerasCurse

Do you want to look like an angel, even though you are a pretty demon? The angels from the heavens have got you covered (just don't tell them)! Available at cathedrals after the botched events from Revelation. You WILL have to work for them. #GameGIF #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameMaker #PixelArt

Those that traveled to hell and perished in eternal torment will give you hints if you're willing to listen. Approach them. They won't bite (they don't have the jaw muscles). I kinda wanna put the text on top of screen instead for legibility. #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameMaker #DaemerasCurse

There are subtle, but affecting differences between the difficulty levels. In the case of Rubella, her throwing daggers reach slightly farther in higher difficulties. Slight difference, but makes a surprising difference. #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev #Devlog #GameMaker

There are subtle, but affecting differences between the difficulty levels. In the case of Zaeria, one of the differences is the speed in which she launches her claws at Daemera. #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev #Devlog #GameMaker

Also, I'm working on a demo for Daemera's Curse. The demo doubles as a prequel to the actual game, so people that are interested can enjoy the demo without getting spoilers. I'll upload it to my itch.io when it's ready. #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameMaker

It's in a hidden location, just like most other Angel Parts. However, you can get hints of their location through some skeletons that you can find.

I'm testing the behavior of the locust familiar. I'm quite happy how he's turning out. Look at him go, creepy face and all. The Angel Brace will be extremely difficult to find, but well worth it. #IndieDev #GameDev #Devlog #SoloDev #GameMaker #GameGIF #DaemerasCurse

Deep within the temples of hell, Daemera will find an angel's halo. By wearing it, Daemera's will heal gradually if her health falls below half her maximum. Finding it will be tricky, but well worth it later. #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev #Devlog #GameGIF

Every time you die in this game, you'll get the name, image, and description of the hellspawn or hazard that killed you. In this case, you were slain by Michael the Feared, the guardian of hell after the events of Revelation that were ruined by you. #GameDev #IndieDev #SoloDev #Devlog #GameMaker

Profundia, the depths of hell, are so dark that hellfire light from the surface cannot reach this place. Daemera would have a difficult time navigating the darkness... if she didn't have hellfire of her own. #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameDev #PixelArt #GameGif #GameMaker

Tonitria, the lab of agony, is a special place in hell for RAM scalpers (that's my headcanon). Vile spews from the pipes, hydraulic presses press, and jellyfish drones will make Daemera question her decision to visit. #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameDev #PixelArt #GameGif #GameMaker

Fonsignia, the hottest part of hell, is full of Wheepers and Crawlers. All demons that have been ask to hunt down Daemera. You would think that Daemera, a demoness, would be immune to fire, right? #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameDev #PixelArt #GameGif #GameMaker
