Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 30/06/2026Life continues to distract, but on the final day of the month I figured I will do this to keep things going as we head out of June. Because of course, it doesn't just suddenly end. As a stout and proud race, we dwarves defend and lift up our friends for exactly who they are. So, happy pride! 000
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 01/06/2026The most recent and fullest commission I've finally decided to go all in on. I have no clue why I waited so long to finally do this. I cannot thank the artist enough for bringing this piece to life. I legitimately got misty-eyed when I received it. In a perfect world.. www.tumblr.com/irlplasticlamb 010
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 21/05/2026I wasn't in dwarf mode, just my cursed giant size, but wanted to show this off from an outing recently.. also should have ironed before wearing them lol. Either way, this tunic from @verillasclothing.bsky.social is awesome. Got a lot of compliments on it and worked well with the rest of my garb. 000
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 31/03/2026Merry Trangender Day of Visibility! Today is an important one for fostering whatever small community I ever or eventually have. Despite our reclusive and traditionalist vibes, dwarves with any honor are ALWAYS on the side of good. And the side of good will always fight for the rights of all. 000
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 28/01/2026While I am a lover of winter, it's because of snow, not ice. While I am not a skilled crafter of my kin, I know that ice melts at our forges. While I love the cold, ice in our home caverns creates a dangerous environment. Hopefully the true meaning of these statements isn't too obscure. 000
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 13/01/2026Starting the year with a look back at the 2025 All Hallow's Renfaire in Billings, MT. It has been awhile yet again, so some to catch up on as I try to be more active in 2026. It was a rainy faire, so couldn't go full-dwarf the whole time but I wanted to sport the beard for this pic with the crew. 010
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 16/06/2025"For every action we undertake, for every word we speak, for every life we touch- it matters. I don’t turn toward the light because it means someday I’ll ‘win’ some sort of cosmic game. I turn toward it because it is the light.” 010
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 16/06/2025“It matters,” Qui-gon said quietly. “It matters which side we choose. Even if there will never be more light than darkness. Even if there can be no more joy in the galaxy than there is pain." 100
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 05/06/2025I have not been active on here, but I wanted to come on and say this (a lil late). Just going to keep it simple too. Merry Pride. You will always be welcome and safe in my cavehome. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵 011
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 31/03/2025Merry Trans Day of Visibility! We may be reclusive, grumpy, or raucus at times, but we see you. From our caves, mines, and strongholds, you will always be welcome and safe here. 020
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 07/03/2025Thank you for the awesome first-ever artist depiction of Brodin! 010

Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 02/03/2025And then there's like Dragon Age. Baldur's Gate. Those aren't exclusively "dwarf games" but still quite fantastic. 110
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 02/03/2025Next best is pretty tough, to be honest. WoW is definitely the one I've spent the most time in and for good reason. I actually quite enjoyed The Dwarves despite its simplicity. DRG instant classic. I really want to spend more time in Return to Moria, but would rather do it with a group. 110
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 28/02/2025Hullo again. Been awhile. This random update was the first public debut of Brodin at the Cheval Court Medieval Festival in Billings, MT. It feels like I wasn't quite fully hitting the dwarven vibe yet, but I was on the way though. Also... terrible day to choose. The area had record high temps.. 🥵 040

Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 04/02/2025Continuing my very spaced out idea of sharing some of my first costuming attempts, here's a few early shots of Brodin coming together a bit more. (Random note that unfortunately, I am not super crafty myself, so these are almost all purchased bits.) Custom axe by SvarogArtisan 140
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 03/02/2025This quote gives me similar vibes to one of my favorite exchanges in all of Star Wars, from the novel Master & Apprentice, between Qui-Gon Jinn and Rael Averross. 110
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 23/01/2025We all start somewhere. While I ramp up my costumes, details, and learn how best to secure my most important accessory, I figured I would show the steps I've had as well. The day my beard arrived. No adhesive (notice the mustache being suspended by my nose ring lol). Beard by ParmaBarbe on Etsy. 010
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 22/01/2025Unfortunately, I think "infiltration" is always inevitable, but I've heard BlueSky is pretty decent about handling reports despite the growing amount. Hopefully.. 000
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 22/01/2025Hmm. You've been a bit active than me in just a few days, so maybe that's why, but I've only had to deal with questionable profiles following me. No questionable DMs though, so not sure. :( 100
Brodin @thewanderingdwarf.bsky.social · 20/01/2025It feels like the right day to be very clear about this and might as well make it my first post. ANY dwarf with an understanding of their own culture and worth their mined salt will always proclaim that trans rights should always be protected. Trans rights are human rights and dwarf rights. 150
