so, I wasn't sure if you wanted more bird-like feathers or to do the wave pattern on them, so I hope this is ok!

the more I looked at Sire's design, the less it made sense. These two evolve over time and based on experiences and influences, but to me one being a dragon and the other being a phoenix makes more sense now <3 #STARLINGS

an infographic of the two primordial deities of my STARLINGS universe: Sire and Eris - they both represent different aspects of yin and yang concepts like life and death, strength and emotions, light and darkness. Sire is a yellow star and based on a phoenix, Eris is a blue star and based on a dragon for her actual form, and her astral form is more elven like, but with white horns. her dress billows out to represent the cosmos and the invisible leylines

a note: you can edit the uniforms a bit and add on things or take off things. mostly want the vibe of it to stay the same if possible, but this can also change based on other classes they master! you can combine class uniforms and stuff to make new ones like I did for Aurora on the right here

Stevie Nix - NIGHT ELF PALADIN @thevioletstarling.com · 26/09/2026

Right now I want to tweak Sire so that this form is one he gets LATER in the story and his initial one is more Phoenix themed. however, my brain is currently broken right now so designing him as been...well...i got a rough outline of a bare bones head shape and that's it lol

Some #STARLINGS infographics for y'all <3 more info: starlings.fandom.com/wiki/Starlin... They're an open concept and making one doesn't mean you have to follow current story stuff if you just want a "Celestial Cartographer" <3 If you have any questions AMA <3

So...in STARLINGS....a Starling can have up to 4 classes. They can merge classes as well for hyrbids, but they have a base of 4. Warbands is 4 characters. Overhauled my whole list and am kinda starting over to relearn the game. LOOK WHAT NAME I GOT FOR AURORA'S PRIEST CLASS

4 different characters on the WoW log in screen. A demon hunter named Starfyre, a Priest named Starling, an evoker named Starcatcher, and a Paladin named Starbinder. all represent my main Oc Aurora Starbinder

so, I sincerely believe there are parallels in WoW between Elune and her brother as well as two other deities. So when I see pairs like this i'm like.... yeah i see what you did there.

since im woefully inept at posting more Starling stuff, here's her current reference sheet. I do still love this design though lol so I dunno about the "new" one still ;3;

I keep debating on changing Aurora's design a bit, I even made a new character to avoid completely overhauling her cause I felt like I was going TOO far off...but I dunno. When I found these nail art for inspo, I thought I'd test the waters with them and her and see. still not 100% but who knows???

This was done October 2024. and somehow I made her pinky finger so small, it looks like she has 4 fingers (the one on the sword). I literally didn't catch it until two days ago when I was finding some art for a friend to use for you-gi-oh cards lol
