Finished my 'birds' for my personal worldbuilding project #worldbuilding #creaturedesign #fantasy #scifi#digitalart #art

A spread showing Alien Bird-like creatures called Hoppits. To the left is an illustration showing them in red flora; while to the right it shows a top and underside view, how the wing folds, details on the feet and a fullbody of an adult and juvenile Hoppit

Sorry for lack of activity! Been caring for my partner for the last year. Finally we have answers as to what is wrong, but still waiting on more appointments and maybe an op. Hopefully now I should be a bit more active. Here's a piece done for the Tokotas ARPG

A group of tokotas, a wolf bear species, walking across an open field. In 2 of their mouths are ducks they have hunted

A rather delayed raffle prize for ‪@lyraksylva.bsky.social of their Cross fox character, Sylva

A Cross coloured Fox standing in a grassy field with rocks. Besides them is a small tree and a large bush. The grass is windswept with some leaves and grass lifted into the air, surrounding the fox.
The picture is set up, in such a way that the far background is framed while the fox and foreground overflow out of the background.

After a long time waiting partner finally got to see the specialist, who said he needed an MRI but there was none available that day. So we back waiting. Again 😑

As someone who is quietly doing scifi worldbuilding behind the scenes, this stuff is fascinating and I look forward to the finished stuff. Would love to make backgrounds feel even more real

Ngl it really took it out of me! I love MS paint Classic but it's wild how much art programs have evolved for the better. I don't think I'll be doing something like this again anytime soon. That said having a tablet rather than mouse helped so much.

Thank you! A bit of background I drew the original in 2006 as part of a homemade calendar. My Dad requested one every year and it's the only image from them that I ever uploaded online. He's not about anymore sadly, so I guess the urge to complete it and make it good in that honour was strong.

With that massive task complete I think my MS paint hyperfixation is done for the moment 😂 Thank goodness

Redraw complete! Done in MS paint classic (with a lot of angry screaming involved) #art #lionking

Simba and Nala from the lion king, snuggling in front of jungle waterfalls at nighttime.

That's so cool! Love encouraging parents My Dad had a shoebox of everything I made for him, including a 'stick dog' I made for him from a few sticks, sellotape and fishing line 😂 I need to dig it sometime, I put it out of the way of bunnies and now it's in one of those hard to get to places.

I appreciated it too! I could never understand when I hit 17, why my Dad would still rather a handmade calendar than just simply buying one. But now I get it

I miss those days so much; Just experimenting with art and the simplier times. The urge to find classic MS paint and Just draw is real. Maybe I'll do it

The Verdant Hare @theverdanthare.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

When I was a kid I used to use classic MS paint to draw; and each year my Dad would ask me for a homemade calendar featuring my art. So I would draw pictures, fill out all the dates and print it for him. I don't have any of those calendars anymore but I think this was one of those pictures.

A very old MS paint picture of Simba and Nala from The Lion King against a badly rendered starry sky

We finally have a date for my partner to see a specialist! Unfortunately that date is in JUNE 🙃

The Verdant Hare @theverdanthare.bsky.social · 06/04/2025

Sorry for the radio silence. Long story short, partner is still in much pain. We've had several false diagnosis, but it seems like we're finally getting to see a Specialist. Unfortunately both conditions that are suspected are chronic. Im gonna try and post soon, a bit rusty with finished pictures

Hey there! Sorry for like... such a long time before replying! I do, but atm I'm very slow due to partner being unwell. If you don't mind a wait I'm open though

Some Christmas gifts for friends! Trying to get used to drawing humans :3 #art #originalCharacter #digitalart

A esk from the ARPG Those Who Went Missing. It has a dog-like face but no nose or mouth. Succulents grow from it's body

Hey my Buds! Sorry for the lack of activity; my partner has been unwell for the last few months with a bad leg infection and septic arthritis, so I'm having to look after him and the household/pets. I'm kinda exhausted so activity might be spotty while he recovers

I've heard good things about this show; I need to look into it!

Artwork from a Bunny Calender I did a long time ago. Old art, but I look back on the pictures with such fondness at this time of year #rabbitart

A rabbit standing on their back legs in the snow. There is a trail of pawprints in the snow and a few blades of grass poking through. Above them is a small branch of autumn leaves.

Two pet rabbits are bullying a snowman. One brown and white rabbit stands on their back legs to chew his carrot nose white the other noses at the snowman scarf, probably considering chewing it. The snow's coal mouth is in a downturns expression and his stick arm is on the floor. I titled his one 'Snowman Abuse'

Ohh I love her! Those rainbow markings with the natural base is so cool!

Thanks so much! Thats a great idea! Its definitely a good way to get into drawing humans I need to draw more humans; I did start trying to do more studies but lost the momentum after life got wild The annoying thing is that most of my worldbuilding is humaniod based, yet I hate drawing humanoids xD
