Nice outfit. Could we leave someone else’s body out of it? #animalrights
Cartoon animals appear in a two-by-two grid: a fox labeled “Fur,” cow labeled “Leather,” sheep labeled “Wool,” and caterpillar labeled “Silk.” Text promotes clothing without these materials and states, “Animals aren’t fabric.” Branded “The Vegan Project.”

“Harvest” is what we call it when the truth sounds too much like what actually happens. #animalrights #veganism
A four-panel Ink & Stamp cartoon shows a woman speaking with a bronze turkey in an autumn farmyard. She says, “We harvest animals.” The turkey asks, “Do you plant us?” She replies, “No.” The turkey answers, “Then you don’t harvest us. You kill us.” The Vegan’s Voice appears below.

“It’s normal” is doing a lot of unpaid legal work for “it’s wrong.” #animalrights #carnism
Bold lettering on a black background reads, “Veganism is right because carnism is wrong!” “Right” is bright green, “wrong!” is red, and the remaining words are white. “The Vegan Project” appears in smaller green text below.

Apparently, “because bacon” is supposed to end the entire ethics discussion. #animalrights
Cream lettering on a dark green panel framed in light green reads, “If you can live a happy, healthy life without harming animals, why wouldn’t you?” A horizontal line separates the message from smaller “The Vegan Project” branding.

Kindness costs us nothing, but it can mean safety, trust, and comfort to another living being. Compassion becomes richer when it crosses the boundaries of species. #animalrights #kindness
Warm, minimalist watercolor illustration of a child gently scattering food for a white goose. Below, bold text reads: “Kindness doesn’t cost a thing, yet it’s the richest gift you can give.” A small Vegan’s Voice logo appears in the lower-right corner.

Animals also cause suffering, but humans possess the moral awareness to recognize it, prevent it, and choose differently. Our failure is not ignorance. It is understanding the harm and continuing anyway. #animalrights #veganism
Quote meme showing a woman meeting the gaze of a pig through the ventilation opening of a livestock transport truck, her hand resting near the closed door latch. Text reads: “Humanity’s distinction is not that we cause suffering, but that we can understand it and choose to continue.” Attributed to Michael Corthell, with The Vegan’s Voice logo.

Once we recognize that animals have lives of their own, “I’ve always eaten this way” becomes an excuse, not a justification. Veganism turns that knowledge into action: avoid harming animals whenever we reasonably can. Knowing better should change more than our vocabulary. #veganism
Portrait poster with a navy background and gold border. Gold text over a blue globe reads, “Once you know better you have a greater responsibility and are morally bound to do better.” Faint icons surround the globe, including a book, light bulb, and magnifying glass. Bottom text reads, “New Thought, New World” and “MichaelCorthell.substack.com.”

Domestication is usually presented as a triumph of civilization: humans learned to control animals, secure food, and build settled societies. But control was never neutral. It required confinement, forced breeding, bodily mutilation, separation of families.

Apparently, questioning exploitation is rude. The exploitation itself gets a pass.
