Agreed. My point being there is no avoiding these charges, no chance to change suppliers, no control over how to reduce one's bill, these are bloody taxes, and when govts talk about tax burden/rates and lowering taxes for ordinary people, these numbers should be included.

Say what you like about our UK NHS, but having been diagnosed with probably terminal cancer, in hospital within hours, unlimited meds, scans, you name it, superb nursing and medical care. Cost £0.00. Even when high rate tax paying my tax did not seem high to me, far from it.
