Agreed. Even though Steve Perry was not a founding member, in my opinion, Journey started with him. It’s strange to know that there were three whole studio albums before Steve ever joined the band. I don’t know any of the pre/post-Steve songs, and it’ll likely remain that way.

On the other hand, AI being used in artistic mediums is counterproductive to the respective art form(s). Artistic expression is a human element and should not be relegated to an artificial entity. I, too, am disappointed that actual artists were not commissioned for this project. 2/2 #TwilightZone

I see AI as a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it’s useful for efficiency purposes in certain professions. For instance, I write computer code to automate repetitive tasks. When the code isn’t working as intended, I use AI to debug. A problem that would take an hour to fix now takes seconds. 1/2

Yes, there is a marathon on the ‘Syfy’ and ‘Heroes and Icons’ channels. Not to mention, the ‘Pluto TV’ streaming service now has a dedicated TZ channel.

Too bad Henry didn’t have the modern conveniences of the 21st century. #Zoners #ZoneSky

They both had so much more to give, but left their respective legacies, nonetheless. Now, I watch the marathon with my own children and continue to feel a close bond with the two men that I admired most. 2/2 #HappyBirthday #RodSerling #MissYouDad

My father would have been 70 this year. He, too, died a young man, at 46 years old (I was 15 at the time). Like your father, he was wise beyond his years. We always watched #TheTwilightZone marathon together. In a way, I feel a closeness with your father through the experiences with my own. 1/2

Happy Birthday to your wonderful father, Anne. He’s had a profound impact on my life, as he has countless others. I just know that he’s so proud of you for continuing to share his legacy with the world. 100 years from now, people will still speak fondly and in high regard of Rod Serling. 1/2

And a few more. There was an actual ice slide at the base of Santa’s feet that you could slide down. They did a fantastic job with this exhibit.

Oh, wow! That’s awesome! I don’t have an interesting story like that, but I did get to see an “A Christmas Story” ice sculpture exhibit back in 2019. They boasted 2 million pounds of ice, and the walkthrough was kept at 9 degrees Fahrenheit. Here’s a few pictures from that event.

This is definitely me, but so is this:

I need to get me one of those major awards for my window. What’s your take on “A Christmas Story Christmas”? I quite like it. I wish Melinda Dillon had reprised her role, but Julie Hagerty did a fine job, nonetheless.

“The Good Place” has always been on my radar, but I haven’t actually watched any of it. I may need to bump it up the list. Also, do you partake in the New Year’s #TwilightZone marathon on the Syfy channel? The Heroes & Icons channel also has a marathon. More info here:

That’s a fine list. I’m always happy to see when “Come Wander with Me” makes an appearance on these lists. It deserves more praise than it gets. #Zoners #ZoneSky

“Back to the Future” for sure! I see Marty McFly as an honorary visitor of #TheTwilightZone. I’m just glad for Martin Sloan in “Walking Distance” that Doc Brown’s second hypothesized possibility of encountering a past/future self didn’t come to fruition. 😜 #Zoners #ZoneSky #BTTF

“Walking Distance” for me, but the entire series is fantastic. #Zoners #ZoneSky

I’ve seen variations of this meme used countless times, but THIS is the one with which I can finally identify!

I’m just happy to see some love for “The Wizard”. That movie is much deeper than just a 100-minute Nintendo add. The Rotten Tomatoes score is brutal (not that I care what critics have to say).

In the dark recesses of my brain, the words “Libiddy Bibiddy” have laid down roots, along with the “Education Connection” jingle (if you don’t know it, for the love of God, don’t look it up). Some of these marketing execs are evil geniuses.

You had me at #TwilightZone comics. Looking forward to this!

I’d like to see an affordable Talky Tina doll. I hate to sound like Erich, but even he knew that doll was too expensive! 😜 #Zoners #ZoneSky

I love this! The lighting from the blow torch is a great touch. I don’t have my finger on the pulse of the comic book world, so I only just found out that you did the cover art for the 2013-16 run of #TheTwilightZone comics. I will definitely be purchasing that run!

I must be on a permanent high, then, because I’ve felt this way ever since being introduced to #TheTwilightZone at a very early age. I’m glad to meet others on #ZoneSky who share an affinity for TZ! #Zoners

Michael Jones @thetwilightzone.it.com · 18/12/2024

On the other hand, I think as we age, we instinctively long for our past, because for us, those WERE simpler times. Much like the episode “Walking Distance”, I, too, long for the days of that lad in my PFP. However, there’s only one summer per customer. I can’t make him share it. 2/2 #Zoners

010

Michael Jones @thetwilightzone.it.com · 18/12/2024

I’ve thought about this a lot over the years. On the one hand, I think each generation perceives that previous generations were of simpler/more wholesome times, but if you actually talk to people from those eras, they would beg to differ. 1/2

110

Michael Jones @thetwilightzone.it.com · 18/12/2024

Same. Out of all eras of #TheTwilightZone, what is your favorite episode?

000

Michael Jones @thetwilightzone.it.com · 18/12/2024

My thoughts exactly! Every medium on which TZ is released, I’m buying it (VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, digital). Nevertheless, when New Year’s Eve hits, those mediums do not exist to me. I love the shared experience of the marathon with my fellow #Zoners!
