LEGO One Piece (2026) It's a fun little recap of the first two seasons of the Netflix series told with LEGOs. I like how they recorded new dialogue instead of recycling audio from the show, and there's a funny gag that feels like a jab at Netflix's "Second Screen Writing" problem.

Actually, the Green Lanterns are more like knight-errants with a no-kill policy. And letting a murderer go because of "white woman tears" has pretty strong cop energy. And waterboarding isn't decidedly not a heroic thing to do. Then again, I'm not a war criminal.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2001) This fixes the breakneck pacing of the book and removed a problematic reveal with the Marcus Brothers. Leila's arc is given a better resolution. The animation is gorgeous. My only problem is that there's a third act twist villain that was really half-baked.

Vampire Hunter D: Demon Deathchase Meyerling is a good anti-villain, and Leila is the best female lead in the series so far. However, the other Marcus Brothers have very inconsistent characterizations that the movie thankfully omitted. Like the first two books, the pacing is a little too fast.
