This is the single most exciting product that I have ever had at The TPS. The T805 uses a newly invented technology called a Tape Element™️ to achieve what so many companies have never been able to do until now. The Walters Audio T805 units will be arriving at the TPS within a couple of weeks!

Changing strings and doing maintenance work on the Nautilus. I’ve neglected it since I bought the Tele. Time to get it all spiffy again. #guitarsetup #fart

This seems a popular activity currently — and everyone knows I’m nothing if not trendy.

TBT to that time I was hanging out with Illeana Douglas (Goodfellas, Stir of Echos, Modern Family) while at the Banff World Media Festival back in 2010 promoting a TV show pilot my team and I created. I was slightly less homely back then. Illeana was as lovely as ever.

Wow. This was my top mini song release of 2024. A ukulele I got for Christmas, an acoustic guitar, an egg shaker, and a cajun while testing a mic. Who knew?

The Recordist “The 4400” was my top release of 2024.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Lauten Audio Eden microphone. Home at long last.

Hahaha. Sorry about that! It’s as amazing as I had hoped. I’m a massive Lauten Audio fan. I had ordered this back in the summer. It had to be hand made and it took a while. But here it is! It’s like the Atlantis, but with a Tube. Do you have an Atlantis? I do and it’s my favorite mic ever.

After a month of serious hunting and dozens of inquiries, I finally found a DBX 560a 500 series compressor. It was in Japan. I feel like a lot of outboard analog audio gear is on back order all over the world. #WhatGives

If you know, you know.

When you work on your mix all night and now it sounds worse than before.
