Pics from the Farm As I travel around the UK, I stay on a lot of #farms and #smallholdings that have allocated some of their land to small, 5 pitch max, #campsites. I'm not a fan of busy campsites. #camping #vanlife #lamb #lambs #cattle #livestock #agriculture #travel #traveladdicts #thetouringeye

As I approach my 1st year anniversary since my first ever #irisphotography pop-up on the 15th Feb, I'm going through all the pics and asking my audience on Facebook to have their say in choosing 'The Eye of The Year'. If you're on FB, come and have your say 😊 #eyephotography #thetouringeye

Do I have any #twitchers in my audience at all? If so, can anyone identify this #bird please? Spotted in the waters of #Lymington, #Hampshire, UK. It dived under water a lot, presumably #hunting only popping up occasionally, many meters from where it dove making getting a good shot rather difficult

Dartmouth Castle didn’t get this prime spot by accident. Built to defend the River Dart from invasion, it’s been adapting to threats for over 600 years — from medieval raids to cannon warfare. #DartmouthCastle #BritishHistory #Devon #travel #thetouringeye #traveladdicts #castle #history #historic

#Goodrich #Castle, #Herefordshire. 11th-century #Norman #fortress, concentric defences, stunning views over the River Wye — and eventually defeated by Civil War artillery rather than medieval siege tactics. A solid reminder that technology always wins… eventually. #traveladdicts #thetouringeye

The monks who built #Durham #Cathedral weren’t just devout – they were architectural geniuses. Ribbed vaulting, perfect symmetry, and original 12th-century roof beams still holding strong. 900 years on and not a crack in sight. #History #Architecture #Travel #TravelAddicts #TheTouringEye
