SO I DID what I always do. I founded a smial (it's a running gag with @germantolksoc that wherever Marcel is, there is a smial. Have founded over a dozen - and counting 😂 🍻 🍾) TODAY we celebrated these five years. Next weekend I'll be at Sur Les Terres de L'Uniques in Brittany...

... and a move away from the city that had become my home (Berlin) I had start all over again. ALMOST 50. Didn't know anyone. From a city with 3,5 million inhabitants, a metropolis, to a city with barely 100,000. Far away from family, far away from friends. Alone.

These are hot topics right now. The level of absurdity is... beyond measure. P.S. Your film could have been hilarious if Robin Williams had played Mrs. Doubtfire again to get things sorted...

Now, I do believe that some things in life are meant to be - and after having visited Toronto twenty years ago I was thinking of visiting again next year for MythCon Now, that awesome Canada is going to be the first associate member if the EU - I'm saving money to make that happen.

The whole indigenous thing feels way off these days... but I get the sentiment. And the fact that George Takei speaks Lok Durd is a riot; love it very much! The next "indigenous" bit on Orto Plutonia... hmm... Too much on the nose for me. That Naboo virus story... Also didn't get me.

It's really difficult to follow up on all of this after such a long time... The MALEVOLENCE was amazing but destroyed so... Rishi-Station = okay; the search for R2D2 is fun because of R2D2; and Grievous' fortress is decent enough. But then we get Hondo - and he IS HILARIOUS.

As last year another splendid event! Unfortunately, I was a little under the weather and could not appreciate it as much as I would have loved to 😷 Two things: if you need to spend some time before catching a train - the SBB Oasis / 3rd floor is amazing 🤩 And an Entish musical is in the works 😂🎄

View of Swiss Landesmuseum in Zürich from SBB Oasis on 3rd floor of the Central Railway station, including a plate of a rather English breakfast kind.
