Not putting PEN15 at #69 is a missed opportunity.

How will the Sickos Committee make "Woke Deadliest Warrior"?

051

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

Co-opting something we came up with for ATO this season. To the tune of Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out: "I say, FUCK BRADY" "You say, FUCK BRADY" "We say... GO SENS GO" "Lalalalalala..."

With the Housey news, we now need to figure out who's going to be Gwyn's new emotional support 4th liner.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Congratulations Mike, you did it.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Mike Hirshfeld draft a right shot D challenge. Difficulty: Impossible.

100

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Rebecca Leslie is going to be traded for a top 5 pick (once they figure out what the hell the draft order is).

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

It's a bold choice by a GM to decide to tank the year *after* a generational draft class. (Mike was clearly tanking this year but didn't expect the 4 teams below them to be *THAT* bad)

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

My brain has already gone to: "If letting Jenner walk is the plan, we are definitely tanking and protecting Leslie was done solely to trade her for a top 3 pick".

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

Looking at the analysis of the Kelly Pannek decision and I'm sitting here like, did everyone not see what happened to Brooke McQuigge this year. Pannek's output is insanely unsustainable, 27 S% when her previous best was 8. If someone's gonna give her the bag, Minnesota's making the right move.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

The more things change, the more they stay the same, unfortunately.

110

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

I'm really trying to parse, with the list of call-ups, how Jordyn Listro is preferred to her in any world.

110

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

An off-season to really work on her skating will get her on track to the player she can become. Hopefully that's here, but I can't imagine we risk Ronja ahead of her before the first round of expansion signings.

010

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Oh, and Clark and Jenner finish the playoffs with 1 point combined. Jenner has 1 point in her last 14 playoff games and doesn't have a point in the 8 finals games these last 2 years. Third lines may win championships, but it's a lot easier when the other team has to worry about your best player.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

It pained me to write all of this.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

The Charge are going to end up picking 11th as they'll thread the expansion teams between the playoff + non-playoff teams in the draft. Mix in that the roster isn't great to begin with, we'll lose 4 of our like 9 good players to expansion, and probably 1 more to retirement. Joy Dunne here we come?

100

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Absolutely. I feel like we (royal we) as Charge fans have been spoiled in being able to get away with being second best and still getting results this season. This is the chicken coming home to roost so to speak.

110

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Look, the action is away from the puck, I understand them maybe not seeing it live. Fast game, things happen, and we can belabour the point about plenty of other non-calls throughout the game. My frustration lies with the changes to the review process that prevent that from being challenged.

110

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

All Sens fans tuning in to watch the Charge now realizing that the team was winning solely by the most nonsensical magic in hockey history.

010

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Blatant trip from Willoughby on Greco before Pou got out of the scrum. Truly an indictment of the rulebook that it's not reviewed.

120

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

In like two or three years, there is going to be some serious revisionism on the Guilday/Cooper pick from last year's first round. Now, how much of that will be relevant because of this upcoming round of expansion? Likely not, but still.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

Montreal Victoire why have you done this today after I had therapy and was in a good place with my mental health?

030

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

Can't wait to not hear Carla have to answer the very obvious question of why her "shutdown line" wasn't on the ice for the last 12 seconds of the game.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

Second year in a row she misses an empty net and we go to OT instead.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

I really, really hate to say it. Brianne Jenner, anti-clutch gene.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

I *think* I've finally broke off from dating apps for good. Not because I met anyone or anything, that would be ridiculous.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

Can you tell I'm spiralling?

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

A reminder that the Blue button is the correct option because you either save everyone's life or you don't have to live with all the people who pressed the red button anymore.

110

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 29/03/2026

Reading through the discourse from Sens fans on *that* app because I'm deranged and can't help myself. This fanbase is genuinely deranged and doesn't deserve anything. Melnyk relocating the team would've been a good thing actually because then I wouldn't have to associate with these people.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

That doesn't look like top pairing Kate Reilly to me.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

Jocelyne Larocque thank you for your service, but it is time to retire.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

The Charge just had the single worst 5 on 3 powerplay I've ever seen.

001

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

Mine are nice and clean, perhaps remove the blue tint from yours and you can see where the crease ends.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

Perhaps you should increase the resolution of the image on your phone.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

Notice how the goalie is outside of the blue zone called the "crease", and is moving into Stutzle.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 12/03/2026

I am once again asking the Sens front office to ban any season ticket holders that sell their tickets to Habs or Leafs games.

100

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 09/03/2026

This entire situation has now brought me to the point of wanting the team to take Ty Simpson at 21.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

Me after the PWHL Final last year. It was a lot of pain.

010

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

Add it to the ever growing list.

010

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

This is very much why I've devoted more of my energy to the Charge.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 19/02/2026

Rodger, reminding the world of this is emotional terrorism towards me specifically.

060

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 19/02/2026

You know what, this is what Troy Ryan gets for holding Daryl's ability to play for the national team hostage. Genuinely hope he coaches the Sceptres forever so they never win a damn thing.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

I really hate to be the pedant (but here I am anyway, a day late) but Canada/US hasn't been the gold medal game for every Olympic women's hockey tournament. Canada played Sweden in 2006.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 31/01/2026

Just started thinking about the World Series again. How has it only been 3 months?

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 15/01/2026

This is actually the never aired pilot to Shaq vs.

020

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 14/01/2026

Watching Anna Shokhina skate haphazardly with the puck in the neutral zone with only MPP around her resulted in the most predictable outcome.

000

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

The list does go on, doesn't it.

020

Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

The Vanderjagt one still tops this in my mind, because he was the one guy that felt like a terminator back then and that may have been the worst miss by distance ever.
