The Professor trailed off then nodded. Waving for the clown to follow him as he made the decision to actually go through with this plan and find the other's friends. He knew all too well how it was like to lose the people you love.

They snuck through the building sometimes walking and sometimes running but always making sure no one…nothing was following them. Although it always felt like they were being watched no matter how careful they were.

Mel Encholy broke the silence with a small sigh.

"Maybe it is too good to be true…"

"Nonsense! We will find them before long, my friend!"

Shouted the Professor as he opened the exit…just to find a brick wall…adding quickly.

"And it looks like we've been captured inside of it…"

"What do you- Oh no…oh gods no! This can't be happening to me! I have so…much to live for? I think so anyway! Maybe my friends are still alive? I mean colleagues more like it but…"

"I sincerely doubt it…but we can go looking for them if you wish- Just keep a level head and don't trust anyone. Not even something that looks like them…got it!?"

"Okay…let's just…get going…"

Mel seemed almost defeated for a moment but then looked up, a spark in their eye.

"I will find them…if it's the very last thing I do-"

#MythAugust Day 3 ! They have a moral compass, but it is a bit skewed. They don't always know what is right and wrong for the people. Then again...they aren't gods only worshiped like they are. They often make mistakes too!

After a mintue of the two running through the building narrowly escaping attacks on each side the Professor exclaims.

"Well, the thrill of my work never ceases to amaze me!"

"You can this thrilling? More like adrenaline inducing…"

"Aren't those the same thing?"

"Not in my book!"

The clown huffed angrily as they made it to the exit.

Pendal whirred but fell silent at the glare from the Professor.

"I will be checking out this convention whether you like it or not, now stay put, and lock your doors…we don't need any humans getting inside and taking off now do we?"

The Professor walked around, pushing through the crowd with mixed responses but he never quite seemed to mind, until he bumped straight into a clown…no jester? Well, whoever it was didn't look too pleased with him.

"Do you have a pass, sir?"

"No…but I am security, see?"

He took out a phone like device, syncing up with the other's mind it showed the clown what he wanted them to see.

"I…see? What is your name? And why aren't you on the list of attendees?"

"I am the Professor…and you are?"

"Mel Encholy…"

"And what convention is this…?"

"More and more suspicious you are…this is DashCon 2!"

The Professor seemed puzzled at first, then nodded. He needed to stay…seems like something was wrong with the timeline. Not only that…he'd get to feed his ego a bit with the fans of his show.

The Professor grabbing a lever, threw it back. Sending himself and Pendal into the unknown. Into the thick of it…into the unknown.

And once they got there…a pause. A moment to catch themselves aware of the situation at hand. But the Professor broke the silence.

"This whole situation has been a thorn in my side…"

Finally, back on here... It's been a while since I've been on bluesky! How we all holding up?

Walking through the corridors of Pendal was like running a marathon. With every step there was more hesitation and confusion. How could he have been asleep that long? Was he still in a dream? Had he even woken up? All these questions and more ran through his mind as he made his way slowly towards the console room.

His eyes darted from left to right as he quickened his pace. Trying to decipher what the past few days had meant. But nothing came to the Professor's mind. Not yet at least.

After a few minute trek the man found himself in the console room. Heaving a huge sigh of relief. Normalcy, something that never changed, Pendal.

He dragged his hand across the console shaking his head.

"What's wrong with me, Pendal?"

He murmurs under his breath but despite this, his question, was answered anyway.

"Time is dying, Professor. Save it. Do what you do best!"

Minutes turned to hours turned to days turned to weeks. Then, he awoke. The Professor hadn't had this type of sleep in years. His eyes flickered open green and piercing as ever. With a sigh, he rolled over trying to get back to sleep before realizing the amount of time that had passed.

"Fuck!"

He exclaimed as he bolted into an upright sitting position.

"How long was I asleep, Pendal."

A creaking echo rang out and mechanical whirring that seemed to say…

"Three weeks."

The Professor looked quite shocked by this revelation.

"Three weeks? Three weeks!?"

He shoved himself up off the bed and landed on his feet perfectly. He'd had tons of practice doing this…albeit he wasn't always this graceful.
