The Table Candle, LLC @thetablecandle.bsky.social · 03/06/2025Hero Builder runs off the idea that anyone can try anything. There are no proficiencies, only Ability and Mastery in a skill using Mastery Points. Yet you have to have at least a +1 in a Skill to start baseing powers around it. 111
The Table Candle, LLC @thetablecandle.bsky.social · 03/06/2025Good Questions. Hero Builder is a Game Engine. You make the flavor. You make the items, armor and weapons youself. What the +2 to Reflex or +1 to Armor is entirely up to you. It can be a chest plate or an amulet. 110
The Table Candle, LLC @thetablecandle.bsky.social · 03/06/2025We agree with you on that. It was put into the book to add mechanics for those who want it that way. Yet, with Hero Builder, you can have everyone be nude and create items that add defense in the Armory section. Like we said, Hero Builder is a Game Engine. It's not like D&D or Pathfinder. 110
The Table Candle, LLC @thetablecandle.bsky.social · 03/06/2025We hope you do, and we recommend taking the Nudist Flaw if you do. Not that being a Nudist is a flaw. Its more of a challange when you rather be nude then clothed. Plus, you don't have to take it if you still wish to be nude. Its all flavor! 110
