This Family Day, we sent our Healthy Beginnings families home with cookie kits—and held a sweet contest! Check out photo 3 to see the winner :) Every Tuesday at our Davenport HQ, participants gather to enjoy food, support & connection. It's our fav day of the week tbh. 💚 tinyurl.com/kh242rnz

We’ve been enjoying colourful meals lately 💚 Like this flatbread mushroom pizza with fresh #spring greens. Here’s something you might not know: nearly all of the 70K+ meals we served last year were different, crafted with care using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Shared meals = stronger communities❣️

Food justice is built and sustained by those who plant, cook, advocate, and care for their communities. Today, on #InternationalWomensDay, we honor the women, queer women, gender-diverse folks, and femmes at The Stop and beyond. We see you, we appreciate you, and we stand with you. 💜 #IWD

Thinking back to when we turned our Green Barn into a pop-up pasta & wine bar with eatwasted! All proceeds from the evening supported our programs. Here’s to more meals served and shared together this year. ❤️ p.s these wizards make (delicious) pasta from leftover bread waste.👇 eatwasted.com

Food insecurity isn’t abstract. It's not just a talking point for politicians and pundits to raise and forget after each election cycle. It’s a daily reality, that looks like a parent skipping meals, so their child doesn’t have to. @mayoroliviachow.ca thank you for the long overdue acknowledgment.
