Frogged one, finished on and cast on a new one. I decided the pattern that shan’t be named need to not be made by me. So 🐸🐸🐸🐸 The yarn is now becoming something I am actually enjoying making. Finished my shorty sox! Yay me! 🎉 It’s been a semi productive weekend.

I just couldn’t bear to continue this prick of a project. The pattern was not user friendly so instead of fighting with it I have walked away. Sanity saved. And yummy yarn reclaimed for the next cast on.

No knitting 🧶 today. Spent the day with my brother scooting around the paddocks, chatting with the neighbours and rounding up some cows and their babies for booster shots.

This paddock has been left ungrazed for about 6 months. It needed time grow and for the grass to go to seed. You can see my brother on his motorbike waist deep. There’s a cattle dog in there somewhere too.

Good god this pattern is hard to read. It just isn’t written like any pattern I’ve seen before. It’s scant on row counts and hard to decipher (probably an advanced pattern, which I’m not). I’m going to persist because it cost me money. When I get more into this project I’ll let you know who designed it.

Yarn is Fiori Sock in Tangerine Nougat. It’s very pretty.
