That's not to say they are definitely all wrong..but the public loves a good conspiracy theory, and it is very easy to mislead them. Your comment on the use of statistics is a good case in point. Someone (Gill or other) said it..you bought it..but it is factually incorrect. That's how easy it is.

I'll add..you have to split those people into two: 1. The general public, most of whom have little to zero understanding of the legal system, even less medicine 2. The qualified professionals/subject matter experts - whose histories and motives should be verified for context
