Last night did a body double session over Zoom. We got in program proposals for a convention we both attend, and I worked up my nerve and applied to an online con I am not as familiar with.

The one-card community tarot draw for the week of April 13: the High Priestess inverted. It's going to be a complicated week, reflecting on how the role held is different from the person that holds it. #witchsky #witchmadness #tarotsky

So my spouse asked about playing a game with me. I got a silly image of us using an Ouija board and us asking if anyone had any questions. I am still giggling at the mental image of a thunder crack and “nope!” I saw in my inner vision.

At some point, I need to write about possession work. I don't do it, but I am surrounded by it culturally and practically. I also see so much superstition around possession- which increases the risks on the nonconsensual possession side. #witchmadness

My myofascial pain therapist lets me be freely witchy on the table. Today I called in ancestors over a spot that won't release, and saw a white man's hands sorting leaves on red corn. Now I need to find out if red corn grew in Pennsylvania.

Cisgender is a medical term. If you're getting offended over a medical term, you're dumb. Period.

There's an elder Pagan who keeps passive aggressively trying to get me to write for her publication. The compensation is advertising within the pub, and the pub is the usual seasonal Wiccan-heavy fare. It's a bit boring, tbh. I have NO idea why she thinks I fit. At what point do I block?

I was triple dog daring *reporters* to call the current administration liars to their faces. But I'll definitely take Congress doing the callouts. Now if a GOP can step up and tell these people what a disgusting embarrassment they are, I'll be really impressed!

The swapping of "white supremacy" for "white narcissism" is finally the verbiage that cuts like it should. Nearly everything conservatives object to is harmless, but screws with their belief they are default "top" of their imaginary hierarchy.

Something that can be done from the outside: shame the Hennepin & Ramsey county sheriff's office. Shame the state patrol. Inundate THEM with emails and phone calls about their violation of law, and remind them they are not the law. Also:

I am well aware that Urban Magick and my way of thinking has caused me to ping the Nazi radar. Usually they're indirect. Apparently that time is done. Folks, if as many of you have been following in secret as I suspect, it's time to be open about it. Please.

Think about the epilogue. What do you want the story to look like after all the horrors are over? In all magick, aim for that. #witchmadness #witchsky Here are a list of spell types that would all be useful under current US conditions:

Spellcasting is often confused with recipes. It isn't a recipe per se - it's a thought process. Sometimes, someone has completed that thought process and linked it to symbols. Sometimes, you need to make those links and actions yourself. Photo by Sabina Music Rich on Unsplash

One of the things I learned from years of surviving magickal attack: the problem/solution isn't always direct. #witchsky #witchmadness That means that you have to look at resources, energy feeds, and the way narrative is used to influence consciousness. Too often, what feels loud wins.
