Manifesting the funniest possible Flight 8 splashdown scenario

TheSpaceEngineer @thespaceengineer.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Fully agreed yet every detail on the ship we see here was actually present on the real thing so there's definitely credibility to even such a basic render

Starship S31's debris have returned to Australia! All sorts of items, ranging from tiles, COPV tanks, and other components from the Starship upper stage have been brought back to shore for further analysis 🧵 (Video version of this thread: youtu.be/Gu5aIMC7NSk)

please tell me you didn't actually give this thing the ability to become a bomb

TheSpaceEngineer @thespaceengineer.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

yeah that's definitely not a bomb officer

You got no idea how pissed but glad I'll be if the Flight 7 patch returns to normal LOL

TheSpaceEngineer @thespaceengineer.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

I may just settle for making custom ones based off the originals to fix it. Depending on how Flight 7's will look

Nets was something I looked into. Couldn't really determine anything on that and they seem like a pretty big feature, I'd be surprised if they were not mentioned in past

This appears to be designed to be very modular in the first place. I've seen nothing in the past 4 years suggesting that there will be decks above the "main deck". Completely open space

Do the latter one. It's much more fun to pick around ideas with a smaller group of people
