What BS! If they aren't making claims, they aren't costing anything. I really wish they'd show their work when they make these outlandish claims. The track record of this administration does not lend itself to any benefit of doubt.

Have you seen her speak? Even the suggestion that she was accepted by a law school should be questioned? Talk about DEI!

Unfortunately, even after the wounds have scarred over and relationships rebuilt, there will be those who believe that Trump was right all along. Those will be the ones trying to keep their children from learning.

I'd like to ask all those who responded with "Somewhat confident" through "Not confident at all" if they were planning on eating any of the food they were buying. Would you eat some chicken if you were only "Somewhat confident" was safe?

I'd like to believe that this is a sign that the younger generation is capable of independent thought. Then, I thought, what if Adam had been paid to say that?!

If you live in MS, please vote! If you know somebody in MS, call them and tell them to vote! We can do this. Cindy Hyde-Smith is about as smart as a box of rocks (depending, of course, on the type of rock).

Trump's new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, is on record believing in the Pizzagate scandal, so every reporter should ask this lunatic conspiracy theorist only about her Pizzagate views and nothing about Trump or his policies, which will cause Trump to fire her crazy ass.

I got my absentee vote packet yesterday. It's more complicated to fill out than my income taxes. Keeping in mind that any error, however minor, is reason for rejection, I'm kinda scared to fill it out. I guess that's the point. They want collect my taxes, but reject my vote.

I'm sorry, but after we kick Trump to the curb, I want him to parade naked down the streets of DC, ala the emperor with no clothes (let him wear a G-string, as if you could tell). Then, when he's on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, I want joystick control of his cyborg legs and make him dance!

I have to assume that, just like the strikes on Venezuela and Iran were dividends to the Oil Companies for their investment in the Trump regime, the Diesel deal with Putin is the same thing.

Better yet. Teach your sons that they have the responsibility to protect women in vulnerable positions. Honestly, you should teach them to protect all people (not just women) who are in vulnerable positions, but that just might be too woke.

Of course, he's trying to start a race war. More like a "Let's you and him fight," kind of war, but he's been doing it for more than half a century. The big question, in my mind, "Are Americans dumb enough to fall for it?"

All this about Trump and nuking LA and SD-you knew when he uttered it that he specifically used wording he could deny. You heard it yet want to pretend that he was deadly serious. Weak sauce. But, to get Americans to cheer for an enemy nuking American cities, that was no mistake. That is the story

To see Trump's blatant racism (and misogyny), compare his response to Central Park 5 case with the Cornell 7. With CP5, the guilt of the perps was undeniable and called for the Death Penalty. With the C7, he hoped the perps were 'given a fair shake'. There was no concern for the woman in either.

I heard this morning that Trump has been pressuring other countries (EU & CAN, I assume) to lower their pollution standards (like he's done with the US). But, wait! I thought we had to lower the US standards to lower our MFG costs. If all other countries are our economic enemy, is this treason?

I'll buy they are all crooks. I am having trouble with "some are just dumber than others". How can you tell? I mean, Trump's position should be obvious, but then look at Tuberville. OK, can't get dumber than Tuberville? How about Guilfoyle? There is no bottom (& they're fighting for it).

They don't really understand that the higher gas prices are not paying for the war. The way Trump puts it, it sounds as if they are. But, make no mistake, the the 'small price to pay' goes from your pocket to the billionaires' pocket to make them richer. None of the higher gas pays for the war.

I saw that $90 from SS just hit my bank account (direct deposit). For most of us, a one-time payment of $90 in October is going to be long gone by January, when the increases in Medicare hit. A bigger help for (nearly all) seniors would be to lower the Medicare premiums by $7.50/mo for next year.

In case you wondered, they really don't consider lying to be a sin. I suspect ol' Petey has a position statement from the new Chaplain that specifically states that the SecOfWar (WAR! WAR! WAR!) in incapable of sin when performing official functions. So now he can go out and sin no more!

Didja catch Trump's speech in Nebraska last night? He pumped the crowd, then got them to cheer at the thought of N.Korea nuking LA or San Diego. Yep, the POTUS getting crowds of Americans to cheer for the instant death of millions of other Americans, because of, frankly, racism.

I don't really know much about TR, but I admire this thought. Colonial America gave birth to democracy from English culture, which was moving away from rule by edict to rule by consent based on classical (Greek and Latin) ideas. What made it great was forging ahead, not waiting for someone else.

If you run out of gas and somebody comes by with a full tank, you can siphon gas from the full car to put in the empty one. With EVs, can you do the equivalent? If I run out 40 miles from town, can an EV with a full charge plug into my EV and give me, say, 100 miles of juice? If not, why not?

Understand that Garland did not expect the entire rule of law to evaporate in front of him. His actions make perfect sense if you follow the law and reject the "I'm right because I'm right!" argument. If Article 1 & 3 power is not stopped from subverting DOJ, what else can happen? It is systemic.

The strategy is to make them out to be the bad guys*. That makes them a victim of an out-of-control main-stream media blitz that is out to get them. *Forget, for the moment, that breaking laws is what makes them the bad guys, not being innocent.

You are supposed to be outraged by Federal funds being used to pay for political ads. That's the why. They're running these ads to try to get the Dems make threats against the Orange Man. It's hard to be the victim if nobody is attacking you.

What gets me about the Flock Cameras is that the general public acts so surprised that the police are abusing them for illegal and immoral purposes. I knew an everyday Joe who claimed to have an in with LEO and could get Name & Addy from any License plate. Yes, he was outraged at the stalking.

Well, that thing in Venezuela was new. Particularly the strategy of blowing up fishing boats prior to invasion. With ME our strategy has always been to poke them in the eye and run. But, what's new here is the plan to draw down our munitions and destroy several of our bases in the area. Brilliant!

Well, you got your CoVid checks, didn't you? You gotta admit, that was brilliant! Trump got credit for them when they were sent out, but Biden got blamed for the inflation they caused. You add to that the fact Biden 'fixed' the inflation and kept economy running. Trump breaks it and is King!

OK, let me get this straight. It's OK not to hate Mexicans now, so if they are doing your yard, cleaning, etc..., it's OK. But, if they're Muslim, it's not OK. Got it. It's so hard to keep up with the bigots.

I suspect that, provided there are historians left in the future, this photo will be as famous as the Ruby shooting Oswald one in '63. Not now, but in 50-75 years, when they star documenting the fall of America. You can't say there isn't collusion. Collusion is that this whole meeting was about.

What I gather from the Sept Jobs report, the unemployment rate is low, but the number of new jobs is also low. This indicates that while the workplace is (nearly) fully employed, the job market is very soft. Meaning, if you want a job, you probably have a job. Great! But try and find a better job?

If we ever get out out this problem, the solution will include -Working capital gets same tax rate as working labor. -Wealth gets taxed. I get taxed on value of my car and house (two largest sources of wealth for most Americans), but why are the largest sources of wealth for Billionaires exempt?

I really would like to know how many other students had their crimes shielded by writing an essay. At least, can we get Cornell to give us a list of crimes that are eligible for such leniency? How can we tell if they were applying this essay-writing rehabilitation equally?
