Forgot to ask the other day; how’s you go abt weathering these? Looks like you’ve not just scuffed up the inner edge of the doors (which really does hide all the guff from before!) but also gone back over the transfer with something to blend it in more with the base paint job.

I'm still kinda befuddled by how small the flatbed is on the new Trukk. It's not *bad*, it's just *so* small. Even if you ditch the bases, you can maybe fit 1 more lad. Seen a fellow on the fb Group do their best to max out the space, expanding it some & even then it'll fit *5* lads on outrunners.

Possible issue you’ve intro’d by using activations - uneven No’s of activations between players. I.E. a Mob of 6 Vs a Mob of 10. 2nd Mob has clear adv. S’a classic issue that crops up w/an alternating activation tbf. Any plans to adress this activation imbalance, or will things be left as is?

Should point out the only down side of my lad the Doom Strider: Official model is sadly in limbo. Tho a paper stand in should serve you well, unless you have access to a 3D printer as there is a fair easy to come upon stl out there!

More folks should give 2e a go! It's currently where my own *keen* is & that's part of why I asked my original Q. 2e comes alive best at 500-1k I'd argue! S'all out there too & the 2e community is alive and well, occasionally dropping even new codex's for factions that *never* got a 2e release!

See, it was that side of things I was very curious abt, esp how they felt in motion. Cus’ on paper they don’t seem so bad for the smaller style game but with 30k played at 2k+ often, I’d wondered. Mortalis is still often played at 1k or so, or did they scale that up too?

The irony hasn’t been lost on me! I forever come back to: RT w/ Skirmish/RPG hybrid 2e w/ platoon lvl 3e w/Company lvl Adding Mental stats into 30k, a game played often at 2k pts *starting* was a curious choice! If the scale was smaller, say 500-1k would those granular rules feel Better you think?

Under-utilised; how so, as in it should have been baked into more mechanics or games/scenarios should have had more ways to use those skills for objectives or obstacles? Tho do I appreciate that POV. For an edition that supposedly streamlined things from 2.0, they seem to have made some odd adds.

I am truly sorry you’re having to go thru that. Finding a group/club, esp a local one that *has* communities for stuff you’re interested to play, can be damn hard these days. That folks can’t see *why* it’s such a dangerous issue, can’t see why it impacts other people, is always very troubling.
