3 for 3 on getting trees down today! No issues, no problems, just a lot of work. I'm going to crash now. I'll pick things up more tomorrow.

Palworld is done. ^^ time to putz around until WoW classic comes out in November. I think I'm going to try it one more time. Likely going to go with the nostalgic Tauren Druid as the first toon.

Whelp, I'm fucked. They're letting my boss go next week Wednesday and they're absolutely going to be tapping me to back fill her. Except her boss and I will absolutely butt heads. Damnit, I was trying so hard to not have this happen.

DnD has been an important part of my life for two decades now. While I don't play that system nearly as often anymore (thanks OGL drama), I still listen to many podcasts and other things. Pointy Hat on YouTube did an incredible documentary on the Satanic Panic of the 80s. youtu.be/RZ2Aep9Kj0E?...

Had a ton of fun at the Michigan Renn Faire today. Kiddo got her first set of garb! Got to see some jousting, eat great food, and they did a fantastic job of having things for kids all around. Now to rest!

Tried to bring the kiddo outside tonight to see the lunar eclipse. She was absolutely not impressed. It was clear and gorgeous out tonight to see it. Hopefully somebody else catches it!

To honor the great Tim Curry, I'll share this near 20 year old image. I'll never EVER forget how I got his notorious role walking the streets of Houghton & Hancock in the UP. A good buddy of mine called me up and asked if I had some spare time that coming weekend. I had so much fun as Frankenfurter.

My mother did pass away last night. I'm going to be feeling some complex emotions today. I'd appreciate texts on telegram and discord.

My mom is in the hospital and it's pretty bad. I don't have the best relationship with her, but I don't want to lose what relationship I have with my brother. We'll see what happens. Wish me luck.

Bringing the great skillet to life! This has been such a fun project. Time to work with it enough to get strong enough to actually wield it properly! Anyone I know experienced with exercise routines enough who might be able to help me come up with something?

Dinoblade is fantastic! Being a Spinosaurus with a great sword and kicking Dino tail is a fantastic premise. If you go in understanding it was one guy who spent years learning the animations, and understand other aspects aren't as polished, you'll love it.

@mysteryben.bsky.social Hey there! Any chance you have any of the old murder mystery sweat shirts hidden somewhere (in XL)? I've loved mine for years and years and it's definitely showing it's age. I'd love to get a new one!

With all the politics going on right now, I've been thinking of what I would do if I had the power to change things. It's pure fantasy, but it's been a fun thought exercise over the past months. I've tried to come up with elegant, long term solutions rather than short term fixes.

This is why you build your own custom curing box for 3D printing, so when you get something that absolutely maxes out the size of your printer, you can still clean and cure it! Been having fun printing some Witchsong minis for the wife to paint. That swamp dragon (first pic) took 19.25 hours.

I’m very aware there are a number of folks with less than stellar relationships with their parents. If that’s you, take a moment and think of someone who has been like a dad to you. Sometimes family is what we find on the adventure, and not the default inventory we get at the beginning.

I'm absolutely not a florist, but kiddo wanted to pull out a floral arrangement for the holiday for me. So we went outside and plucked one of each of the flowers on our new property. How do they look?

Can confirm they can create fantastic compositions! I got a music commission from them as a theme song for Jesse and it really really helped me lock in and write back in the day. Thanks again!

Does anyone I know on here have experience with assisting a parent with their anticipated death? My mother has some nasty cancer and while they haven't given her X months to live yet, it's expected to come soon. While she has a will, there's also going to be some medical debt and other things.

Another one of my child's glorious creations. This one is peanut butter, pickles, bananas, and finally jelly all packed between two slices of bread. And she's giving it two thumbs up!

This is going very fast and I love it. Listed last Friday and by Monday night I had several offers playing on each other. We're getting a very good price and selling to a nice young couple for their first home. All that effort appears to be worth it. :)

It's done. It's fucking done. Over three months now I've been preparing my old house to sell so it'll go for top dollar and they're taking pictures tomorrow. I'm just so done. I want to be able to move into this new house. I want to finally start this new chapter in life. I'm so tired.

The family and I got to have fun today at the Grand Haven kite festival! We hung out with a few friends there too. Kiddo got to fly a kite with her friend for an hour, play in a bunch of sand, and got wet in lake Michigan. It was a great time. :)

A child's imagination will never cease to amaze me. Her breakfast this morning consists of two clementines, peanut butter (specifically around the rim), then topped with chocolate cake crumble.

Can the voices in my head please shut up? As much as they like to tell me, I'm not a failure. I'm just incredibly over worked and stressed right now trying to flip our old house. I'm having a rough day.

The entire bot worked! It ran on time the last three nights and it worked flawlessly. This was a condensed run since it was so close to month end, but next month it'll get fully tested. My joy today is only tempered by needing to get the old house sold. Soon... Soon...

Let's fucking go! It's 6 PM on a Friday night and we've successfully started the automation bot on production. My levels of stress have been off the charts these past two days and I think we're getting past it. I have no idea what we did to make it work on prod, but I'll fucking take it!

We dodged a serious bullet today. Finally had the tree guys come around and take down the giant basswood they built the deck around. Turns out, it was nearly completely hollow and filled with critters! Watched a raccoon jump out the top at one point.

The Silver Stripe @thesilverstripe.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

Bah, the tree guys are delaying cutting down this tree due to the rains we've gotten. I get they don't want to bury their equipment in mud, but I was really looking forward to this happening and moving forward from here.
