As I start a new sketch book I am humbly reminded why I'm not really that big a fan of painting lol This is the agonizing wait between layers as they dry 😂 #art #painting #sketchbookprep #newsketchbook #pain

Hopping on the drawing Jimothy trend (Hella late but better then never) I switched it up and decided to draw him as a person missing neck and all! Gotta love Seattle's cryptid! #Seattle #Jimothytheracoon #asaperson #artwork #pencilandink #seattlescryptid

Drawing of Jimothy the racoon as a person standing proud a hand on his hip, dressed in hiking attire, his shirt saying "Seattle cryptid" on it, "Seattle's racoon cryptid" written to his uper right and his name written out to his left.

Decided #handmade meant forgoing the digital art this go-round. (Sketched, inked, and colored by hand) Also gave me an excuse to finish another in my #BizarreMenagerie series. #MerMay #Mermaid #Wendigo

Hand-drawn illustration by Andi Kennedy of a wendigo-octopus creature holding and contemplating a bubble in one tentacle.

Inked and colored with alcohol markers and gel pens on 300-lb. watercolor paper.

#MerMay2026 🧜🏽‍♀️ - Handmade🪡 I wanted to draw a mermaid that reflected an aspect of my home province of #Manitoba 🇨🇦. So here we have a mermaid in handmade jingle dress with the colours of the #Anishnaabe people. #MerMay2026Handmade #MadeWithProcreate #Canada

A mermaid leaping out of the river showing her handmade jingle dress with a sunset in the background.

#mermay is on the way and the official mermay page over on Insta dropped this year's mascot with a DTIYS and I thought drop my DTIYS of him here as well. Go check him out and show him some love over there too

Drawing of the mermay mascot of 2026.
He's sitting on a small sand hill with some seaweed to his left. Wearing a necklace made of fish bones.

Working on a coloring book is harder then I originally thought it be. Like good heavens 60+ pages to make and all have to fit the thyme but be unique. I'm trucking through it tho! Here's my favorite one so far! Let me know if you want more sneek peeks!

Partially inked in drawing of a stitched together mermaid reaching out for her eye that seems to have fallen out.

My family just suggested I make a coloring book to sell more of my art. I am tempted but have no idea where to start the process of getting a coloring book even published 🤔 Any advice out there for someone like me who's trying to get seen out there?

Character design is a pain in the butt. Like god damn! So I'm gonna take a brake on that and world build a bit. Like would dragons fall under animal folk (think things like cat girls and centaurs) or just be their own thing?

Week 2 of #faebruary this weeks prompt is Runway Flamingo! #traditionalart #faebruary2026 #colorpencil this one was a bit of a challenge because I got confused by "runway" and at first was thinking an airport/airplane.

Drawing of a pink runway fairy standing on point with one leg similar to a Flamingo. On a backsplash of earthy green.

Hey all I got a question I'm trying to name some characters. I've had some suggestions like Jasmine and Jacqueline or Fae and Mae but I'm not to sure about them. Here's some of the drawing I've done for them, personalities in the alt text boxs. Names are in order of Twin A and Twin B.

Drawing of Twin A and Twin B together Twin A in the front and Twin B in the back

Twin A, she's a soft spoken sporty type girl with book smarts to boot. Similar to her sister she has a heart of gold and high confidence. Though she never quite fits into any one group being to brainy for the sporty folk or to sporty for the bookish folk. Also loves to get dressed up by her sister tho twin A's fashion sence is not one to be desired.

Twin B, she's a cheerleader kind of girl with a heart of gold. Has the confidence of gods (not hubris she knows her limits), loves her twin sister to an astronomical degree, has a killer fashion sense, and will always stand up for the soft-spoken weirdo outcast.
