"classic wow players just can't let go of nostalgia" Hell yeah dawg. Why would I? Being nostalgic for things kicks ass. You mean I can go back and enjoy something for what it was at the time AND also appreciate it in a whole new light because of what it meant to me? You need not fear nostalgia

Okay, i hear you. Some of the faces in the OoT remake look creepy, little porcelain-doll-esque. But I raise you this; Majora's Mask in this style. Now the creepy sounds good, right?

I've seen a number of products in big stores now with genAI images on their packaging, and honestly it just makes me think the thing is cheap Like if your company can't even pay an artist to make a simple image for you, how can I trust you're investing into the quality of the product otherwise?

Another weekend down, we do this again. It doesn't need to take much to save the world. Because for each of us, that world is something different. If you can make a meaningful change in someone's life, no matter how small, that's a superpower, as far as I'm concerned.

I feel like I don't see anyone talking about Split Fiction ever. Gameplay wise, it might be Hazelight's best work. I was constantly mindblown for the second half of the game. Just hit after hit for the puzzles and traversal. So many fun ideas constantly. It's a huge recommend from me

I'm an old head, and maybe this is just how the platform decides to move forward. But i fully believe they will be kneecapping themselves if they expand on this. To do so is to fundamentally misunderstand their product, and the market they are appealing to.

A screenshot of text that reads: "Twitch, from the very beginning in the justin.tv days, has always been about people at its core. People connecting over a shared passion for video games. It has since evolved to include every facet of creativity and highlighting the people who embody the *process* of creation.
Being in a live format differentiates twitch from other platforms. The ability to include live audiences into content creation is one of its greatest boons. To implement genAI features and tools into the platform is to hollow out the very core of the community, the creators and the platform itself.
Generative AI may be able to make a facsimile of live content, but it is always hollow. It is an empty shell of regurgitated information. I believe, fundamentally, that genAI will never be able to make a product that audiences on twitch are going to be interested in, long term.
Because it may seem like novel gimmick now, but twitch is about long-form content. About forming bonds with real people. Cultivating a community that shares a passion about every form of expression. And if you reduce the product to a pretty face with no underlying foundation for support, you can't be surprised when it all comes crumbling down."

I'll be honest, i do feel a little left out that I don't find things like gatcha and pulls interesting, because they're so insanely popular and there's such a community around it But at the same time I'd be broke as HELL if I was into it so, that's probably for the best

The plural of hair is hair, but hairs is still a word. Weirdly, hairs usually refers to multiple strands of hair, but fewer than if you had used the word hair.
