No, seriously, fuck Brightpowder ...

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Zelda Notes not letting you deposit more than 10 items per day is fucking stupid. Especially since there's an achievement attached to it.

I have run into a consistent problem in my Battle Tower runs to 100 and which is the pocket monster, Starmie an extraterrestrial starfish with good coverage and high special attack and speed. It can pretty much out-speed and one-shot all of my friends except Garchomp who is holding a focus sash.

This might be the longest wait of my life...

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

There times when I lose a Battle Tower streak and I know it was my fault because I made a misplay or a miscalculation but man... fuck Fire Blast! Seriously! Oh you're just going to miss 3 times in a row and lose my streak at battle 63/100 are you? Fuck you. Fire Blast? More like Fart Blast

Gen 4 Pokémon fans. Does anyone have any tips on how to get a 100 battle win streak in Dimaond. My current team is; Garchomp Heatran Gengar They seem to cover a lot of match ups whilst being immune to electric, poison, fire, ground, normal and fighting. Any other recommendations?

Shiny Togepi freshly Pokeradar chained in Diamond. Mild nature isn't bad. I havent thought of a nikname for her yet. I'll come up with something once she is a Togekiss. #Pokémon #shinyhunting #shinypokemon

#BleachTYBW I think Yhwach might actually be the greatest villain ever. Even above Azien. None of the villains from Naruto I can think of can compare. Maybe Pain, maybe Madara. One Piece I'm still reading/ watching so I can't make a judgement yet. Ep 46 made Yhwach so genuinely scary. So brutal.

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

I was wondering why I hadn't got my 4th trainer card star in Diamond for completing the national dex. Turns out I'm missing the Krab and the King 🦀👑 which you can only get from swarm spawns

#Bleach TYBW episode 45... I literally don't know what to say. I'm desperate for the next episode.

Hopefully some clever person will find a way and teach us all how to transfer up gen 5 to 6 and then 3DS era Pokémon to HOME through less... offical means...

I can't say I'm surprised. I think we all knew Bank would close eventually. It still stings. Especially since (like most online cloud server stuff) keeping Bank open isn't exactly burning a hole in the Pokémon Company's pocket.

I personally think it's time for gaming to die (again)

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

The first Hall of Fame team for Diamond. 3 Pickup mons and 3 shinies. I've really come to love these Pokémon.

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Can anyone point me in the right direction for modding My Pokémon Ranch onto the Wii? Would the games flag the MPR Mew as illegitimate if I went for it and tried to transfer it up?

Didn't realise Bibarel gave 2 ev's in attack not HP... All my ev training is FUCKED 😭

010

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

Oh no... Random shiny Bibarel in Diamond with a quirky nature! Never used a Bibarel on my team except as a HM slave. Unaware isn't a bad ability either. Named Gnawty after the beaver enemies in Donkey Kong. I'm not looking forward to ribbon mastering this... #Pokémon #shinyhunting #Pokemon30

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

I finally get to use Kirin! She's waited a long time to be on the team.

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

SHINY PIPLUP IN DIAMOND!! Say hello to Trident after 4780 soft resets! Impish nature, which isn't the best, but it'll be interesting raising a physical attacking Empoleon. Really excited to start my gen 4 journey! #Pokémon #shinyhunting #shinypokemon #Pokemon30

0101

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

I don't know why there's a sudden discourse around shiny hunting but I'm 4000 soft resets into my Diamond Piplup hunt and I don't care who hates me for it.

030

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

So it looks like Champions is currently not worth my time...

020

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 25/03/2026

Mega Sol is an insane ability when you think about it; - Mega Meganium fires Solarbeams with no charge off its base 143 special attack. That's so strong you can probably just invest in bulk and speed. -Synthesis gives full health(ish) heals - Weather Ball will always be fire type and 100 base power

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Why do shiny hunters always shout "yo" when they find a shiny? Its weird.

110

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

But I've already hunted a shiny Eevee in XD...

It's really sad that we live in a world now where people don't have basic media literacy or an understanding of cause and effect. Yes, I'm talking about Chainsaw man. It's my fault. I was totally fine until I found out about the discord around the latest chapter.

New (already documented turns out) #Pokémon Emerald discovery!

Starting gen 4 by shiny hunting Piplup.

030

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

8 games, 11 shinies and a living dex of 383 Pokémon all obtained legitimately with no glitches or cheats. The only 3 I couldn't get were Mew, Celebi and Deoxys. A flawed generation but now that I've played these games to death I appreciate them so much more. I can't wait to start gen 4. #Pokemon30

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

Finally... A 4 star gold trainer card, defeated Steven at Meteor Falls and all of my shinies across all of my Gen 3 games are ribbon masters. Emerald is complete and I've finally finished generation 3 of Pokémon. #Pokemon30

I see a lot of people complaining over how Switch2 FRLG have no online battle features but let me ask you this... do you really want to breed competitive Pokémon on Four Island with terrible egg hatching conditions and no Flame Body just so you can fight OU Tyranitar online over and over?

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

SHINY EMERALD RAYQUAZA!!! 4738 run aways The final shiny of my gen 3 journey had been hunted and caught! Unfortunately I ran out of Luxury balls but even in a Timer ball I'm so happy! Navie nature and named after the Qunicy King Yhwach from Bleach. Now onto ribbon mastering! #Pokémon #shiny

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 23/01/2026

I kinda wanna make a video talking about my shinies, the gen 3 experience and everything in-between whilst a shiny hunt Rayquaza...

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

The 3 biggest Pokémon related achievements in 2025 •Fully completed a 4 star FRLG trainer card •Egg hunted a shiny Mudkip •Completed the Battle Frontier 2026 goals •Shiny hunt Rayquaza •Ribbon master my shinies •Complete Emerald trainer card •Begin Diamond and shiny hunt starter Piplup #Pokémon

Battle Tower complete!! Ending 2025 with a full set of Gold Frontier Symbols. Genuinely one of my proudest achievements in Pokémon and something I'll never do again. Now that's done there's a certain dragon I need to shiny hunt...

The reward for fully completing the Battle Frontier

BATTLE PALACE COMPLETE!! Genuinely the most stressful facility out of all of them. I'm never doing this again.

010

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

Oh a shiny Miltank in the Battle Palace is it?

010

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

Of course I have to go away for a week for work and won't have any time to play the Z-A dlc until I get back on the bloody day it gets released. I'm just resigned to the fact I'll be spoiled by "Content Creators™️" rushing through the game for "content".

000

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 04/12/2025

FINALLY completed the Battle Arena! I loath this facility with every fibre of my being. So much can go wrong within 3 turns due to things beyond your control & because there's no switching you just have to hope and pray the trainers next pokemon doesn't just insta-kill yours. Fuck this place.

020

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 03/12/2025

Random encounter Shiny Zigzagoon in Emerald! I wasn't even hunting! He's hasty, he's orange and I named him Crash. #Ranchweek #Pokémon

I did a very big double take when I saw him.

I've checked his IVs and they're not good. Getting ribbons on him is going to be a pain...

ZA side mission 119 had me howling. I love Jacinthe so much.

020

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

ZA online rank battles are complete nonsense yet so much fun. I got to rank A with a Goodra, Tyranitar and Meganium, and what's crazy is I wasn't the only one using Meganium in the high ranks. I saw it more than Emboar or Feraigatr.

010

Shiny💫Diary @theshinydiary.bsky.social · 20/11/2025

ZA really missed a trick with the Furfrou mission by not calling the Elite Four the Elite Fur.
