LOTR: Rings of Power, Fallout, Reacher, INVICIBLE...shows made based on licensed properties. Amazon would be willing to do what Disney wasn't...have the show without owning the license. The question, as ALWAYS, is if they'd be willing to foot/help foot THE COST of producing the show.

So...this. 1) It's a fairly sourceless story, so yknow, huge grain of salt. 2) WITH that giant grain of salt in hand...I said in my video about Power Rangers recently...Amazon Prime makes SENSE. Besides being one of the only outlets LEFT, they do this a LOT.

A very happy Indigenous Peoples Day to all of you! Shall we remember on this day not to celebrate the legacy of slavers and terrible people, but instead the deep rich culture heritage of Native Americans.

It's SO GOOD, and so absolutely well-made. Translating that graphic novel to film as well as they did is astonishing.

Lucy, I almost get. Gene? That seems...weird somehow? Can't really describe why.

"I know. I was...lying." Let's make that 7pm instead of 6:30pm. A little more time to relax before stream. BUT, BUT...tell ya what. I'm also going to install a 5-minute timer on the GSS Jadzia instead of the 10. So a shorter pre-show!

000

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Damn, that's a good point. I was in the same boat, but yeah...if they're paying attention, let them see no interest, even from pirates.

I'll say this much...we have no idea what Trek TV and movies are going to be, or if we're even going to WANT them...but the COMICS are apparently going to explore every little nook and cranny of the timeline.

SCHEDULE CHANGE! The first schedule change after the new job has begun, but not the big one just yet. In fact, this one is very small. Wednesday night streams are going to start 30 minutes later, at 6:30pm. Gives me time to shift from work mode to stream mode. Still ending at 10pm.

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

He has the energy to take on Trump and MAGA I've seen from VERY few other Democrats. So many other shy away from the fight, keep trying to be civil, take the high road. Hopefully better candidates learn that from him.

000

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

It sucks so much...in basically every other area, he's a fantastic candidate. But yeah, we need someone that will be president for everyone, including transgendered people and the unhomed.

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Oh, as far as editing, it's fine. In the timeline, it only has my audio track.

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

While my stance on AI is usually no, especially in creative fields...I kind of LIKE this? It makes my videos more accessible, you don't have to just read captions. It's not my voice, of course, but I think it's still a neat feature. You know I wouldn't get people to dub my videos in other languages.

100

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Discovered something interesting as I started editing the comp. I re-downloaded the first episode of Galaxy, and playing it in Resolve, I heard like 20 different voices in a bunch of languages. Turns out, YouTube is using AI to dub SPOKEN AUDIO in like 20 different languages.

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Happy to say that the FINALE of Super Mario Galaxy (and of course the episodes before it) is uploaded and scheduled! I'll now be working on a funny moments compilation, which I'll break into 5 minute chunks for TikTok. After that, it will finally be time for the Majora's Mask LP to begin!

How long is it going to TAKE THEM to realize most of us don't give the first flying F**K what that antiquated old book says? The Bible should NOT be the basis of American government.

000

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I did use their editor to put in some of their approved music, because if nothing else, I use the channel as a VOD archive...I want it to be there. But I do want others to be able to WATCH.

000

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

The VOD was BLOCKED GLOBALLY. Because I used music. Not just stealing monetization (again, not monetized), preventing ANYONE from seeing because I played their music. Didn't claim it was mine, didn't profit from it. Twitch just mutes any claimed music in VODs. THAT'S how it should work, YOUTUBE.

100

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

In case anyone was wondering if Fair Use is still bullshit on YouTube... Tonight, I added the soundtrack from Star Trek SNW Subspace Rhapsody to my Starting Soon/BRB/Stream Ending playlist. I knew it couldn't be monetized on YouTube, I don't monetize VODs anyway.

100

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I'd guess another alternate timeline. Why? This might not sound like the HIGHEST priority, but look how long Paramount has supported Star Trek Online. I don't think they want anything that CAN'T rationally be folded into STO. Sure, anything CAN with the Q and portals and etc, but still.

HOW'S THE REFLECTING POOL LOOKING?!

100

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Being fair about this, the opposing party has to be in majority in the House for an impeachment to happen. Then 2/3 of the Senate has to convict. Which is why, sadly, Orange Leader probably gets IMPEACHED in the next 2 years, but not removed.

000

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

This is...becoming a thing. The whole "we couldn't/didn't want to make a complicated graphic, do the thing anyway?" I'm of two minds; on one hand, it's not AI, so that's good...but mainly, it DOES look low effort.

A happy 35th anniversary to MY SINGLE FAVORITE EPISODE OF STAR TREK.

011

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

You know the sad thing? Some MAGA idiot is going to take that joke at the end as NOT a joke. "See? They opened talked and LAUGHED about how he plans to destroy New York!"

010

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

This absolutely qualifies as "unhinged ramblings". I can hear him screaming this in an empty Oval Office.

000

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

And I gotta say, I like the belt gimmick. Sora has Yuna, who can SOMEHOW give him "permission" to open Eggs. The others have to use some elements that FORCES the Eggs open.

000

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I was glad Yuna apologized to Sora after insulting him. I was ready to call her out, but it was a character moment. Like, he did his best! He got interfered with AND the monster regenerated! It's interesting that Datt had to give her belt to Rid. Not enough belts for everyone to have one?

100

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Kamen Rider My-th Episode 3: The Zodiac Council being more concerned with My-th than the MONSTERS HURTING PEOPLE is gonna be a thing, innit? Yuna's quirk of correcting people on the name of her club is getting kind of irritating. Rid has a cool design. Kamen Rider Void Kitty!

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

A finale doesn't HAVE to be a cliffhanger. But it should at least kind of...sum up a season. I don't think finales should be single-character focuses. It should be an ensemble piece, the crew facing a great challenge and overcoming together. Well, now we wait for an abridged Season 5.

000

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Season 4 has great episodes...also has The Griffin Incident. But seriously, Human Best Friend was fun, A Case of Chiaroscuro was visually interesting, I ADORED Level-Five Transporter Accident and Like Chronitons through the Hourglass. But it's an average season because it doesn't change anything.

100

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I have a theory about this season. I think when they plotted it out, they were pretty sure they had 7 seasons. So, take the middle season to reset, have FUN with the characters. Don't shake anything up, just for the fun. The problem is...now we have 6 EPISODES left, a half-"season" "season".

100

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

This? Uhura and Uhura solve a space baby problem. Hints of romance with Scotty. That's all. Uhura grows some as a character, but...you could watch this episode ANYWHERE in the season and lose nothing, miss nothing. It hardly sets up anything going forward.

100

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

But...this was NOT a finale. S1 - A Quality of Mercy: Puts a cap on the Pike discovering his future storyline. Lots of elements from that season. S2 - Hegemony: A FANTASTIC cliffhanger bringing back the Gorn that plays FORWARD into S3. S3 - New Life and New Civilizations: Capping Pike/Batel.

100

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I'm SERIOUS. The middle of this episode is "young me does something in the past so older me can go get it". Tell Spock to consider a problem that takes a year to solve. Make a crystal that takes a year to form. It was giving Ocarina!

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS Season 4, Episode 10 - Yesterday's Enterprise What meaning do we attach to what an episode is "supposed" to be? A premiere, a finale? STRONG episode of Star Trek. And here's a weird limb to walk out on...I think it was partially inspired by Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Diesel is $6 a gallon, the food supply is at risk. American soldiers are dying in an illegal unsanctioned war. Our government is protecting pedophiles. BUT THE TRANS AND THE FURRIES. Listen here, you insane silly WEIRDO. I respect furries SO MUCH MORE than most Republicans. Just admit defeat.

The Seanyverse @theseanyverse.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I believe doctors call that Shinkenger syndrome, haha. I get wanting some creative freedom, but there was a formula I really liked, seeing the fresh iteration on each year. I MIGHT watch Gavan at some point...but OmegaHorn does not interest me. And that's fine, not everything is for me. But yeah.
