One of the reflections in my performance review at work was that I took too much leave… that I’m legally entitled to. Like I didn’t take any unpaid leave (something you can only do at the exhaustion of all other leave) Imma take it as “we miss you when you’re not here” lmao because wtf

Looking at my report cards from high school that all say “She’s enthusiastic, passionate learner with incredible potential… Who struggles to focus, needs to study more and whose exam results don’t reflect her knowledge base” Okay, so why did it take me so long to get an ADHD Autism diagnosis?

Am so lucky that as an Autistic person one of my safe foods is sushi… like one of my safe flavours is seafood? That’s genuinely just astoundingly lucky. My food list would be so much smaller without it.

Grateful to WFH for the sheer fact of being unmonitored. I can sneeze, cough, fart, breathe without someone telling me I’m too loud or asking if I’m okay. I don’t have to wear shoes, or a bra. I can take a midday shower. I can stay in bed. I can eat and type. I am my most productive, unmonitored.

I wanna bulk buy some pokemon cards and do a fundraising stream where I just flip over like 2000+ cards and the money from that stream gets donated + sell off any cards to any buyer or like “auction off” the lot and donate that money too. I don’t know anything about pokemon cards though 👀👀👀

It means “sneaky peek” like to sneakily look at something, usually if it’s not ready to show people or if it’s an upcoming surprise. Old Australian slang especially loves to play with words. A good example: instead of “let’s hit the fucking road” we’d say “let’s hit the frog and toad”

070

Croe 😈 VTUBER 😈 @thescarefoe.bsky.social · 26/08/2025

Forgetting how much of my language is slang/idiom/colloquialism And just asked a client if they wanted a ‘sticky beak’? Non-Australians take a guess at what I meant:

Casual reminder to use your local services as a much as possible. You are not taking away support from someone “more in need” you are boosting their numbers, which supports their applications for funding grants so they can continue to support you AND others. Plus, you are deserving of support 💜

One of the most wholesome things I’ve experienced in supporting art friends by buying physical art… is sharing their works with my grandmother (also an artist) and then secretly buying her some to have for herself, because she loved them so much. These sushi mermaid stickers are her favourites 😍🧜‍♀️

About an hour in and the main character says “even when you would say no what you really meant was yes” referring to ‘adventure’ but Jesus Christ there’s so many yucky lines in this film. I’m switching it off Blegh. 🤮

I don’t think I can make it through the Fountain of Youth movie. So much ick in the first 30mins what even is this? 🤢

Croe 😈 VTUBER 😈 @thescarefoe.bsky.social · 07/08/2025

I really miss having the “HELL YEAH” and “YES! And” people in my life. There’s something really disappointing about sharing an idea with someone, just to have them immediately knock it back or point out flaws or tell you it won’t work in the long run. Fuck off and let me dream, damn it.

390

Croe 😈 VTUBER 😈 @thescarefoe.bsky.social · 04/08/2025

An ‘ick’ I have is the “bigger better” mentality. American TV series do it a lot, try to out-do themselves to a point of ridiculousness (nuclear zombies bffr), but it’s also in the Vtubing community. It can be difficult to carry a conversation as Vtubers constantly try to one up each other. Blegh

As an adult I choose at random times to use the fun iridescent cutlery I bought OR go completely utensil free. “Don’t play with you food”. What are you, my mother? This is MY house, I’ll enjoy Viking dinners as I please, bare handed and happy.

Growing is learning that when commissioning custom art, the more details, examples, “vibes” and all round information you give the better the result is. From music to emotes and everything in between Even telling artists a vibe you want to avoid can be super helpful 💜
