Lanterns 9/10 Look, it's a great show that fully displays what the DC Universe can be, but my God, I am begging HBO to give Season 2 a bigger budget. I just want to see an alien in this show.

My Adventures With Superman s3 9/10 It really is a miracle that this show still manages to be so well-written despite it being more clear than ever that the writers want these seasons to be at least 13 episodes.

Cyborg-Superman with parts of his robotic face exposed staring with a wicked grin behind cracked glass. Within the glass are reflections of (clockwise) Supergirl, Superman, Bad Future!Lex Luthor, Lois, Jimmy, and present Lex Luthor; all of whom (save Lex) are looking on in concern.

X-Men '97 Season 2 8.5/10 This show continues to be one of the most exciting, engaging, beautiful things to come out of Marvel, even if this season does end up faltering towards the end.

Rogue Legacy 7/10 A really creative take on the rougelike genre that's unfortunately held back by a lack of variety in the gameplay and an unforgiving difficulty curve.

Misc. A Tiny Tale 7.5/10 A bit simplistic and rough around the edges, but the story and setting are more than charming enough to make up for it.

The Doomies 8.5/10 A really fun horror comedy that, in a better timeline, would be getting similar attention to the other French Disney cartoon that came out this year.

Promo art for The Doomies of a boy with glowing green markings on his left arm panickily riding his bike away from a shadowy, wizard-like figure, while a girl riding on the same bike excitedly records the sight. Behind them, an old man riding a white van is sticking his head out with a book attempting to explain something to the kids. Above them is a taller teenaged girl wearing shades leaping towards the shadowy figure in a fighting pose.

I’m being so serious when I say that Rotten Tomatoes needs to straight up get rid of the audience scores. There’s no point in having it if it can be very easily hijacked by Nazis who outright admit that they’re praising an Uwe Boll movie solely because it validates their prejudices.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is slated to leave Netflix on June 25th because streaming is terrible. Highly recommend watching it before then. It’s a beautiful, fun, wildly creative show and easily among my favorite cartoons of the decade.
