Every home needs a fluffy little gargoyle to protect it.

Someone decided that the bed on its own was no longer comfy enough, and he needs to stretch out on a pillow. (And honestly, good for him.)

When all you can think about is getting out of bed and eating a bagel, but your orange child is being sweet and adorable like always and so you can’t move a muscle.

The boys did some modeling around the new apartment tonight. 🧡🤎🤍

Two Exotic Shorthair cats perched on a chartreuse bar stool next to a white kitchen island. The smaller cat is chocolate and white with amber eyes, sitting neatly. The larger orange tabby stands behind with wide, round eyes and a flat, expressive face. The background shows a warmly lit mid-century modern apartment with mustard curtains, a charcoal gray sofa, and city lights visible through the windows at night.

An orange Exotic Shorthair cat with a flat face and round dark eyes sits on a warm walnut wood coffee table, looking slightly grumpy and adorable. Beside him is a white speckled vase holding a bouquet of orange alstroemeria flowers on a green tray. The background features a mid-century modern living room with a dark grey sofa, bold patterned throw pillows in rust and cream, a wooden owl-shaped lamp, a black and white geometric rug, and two framed art pieces on the wall.

Franklin says good morning, sunshine. 🌞

An orange tabby cat lies stretched out on a light beige carpet, resting on his side with his head tilted toward the camera. The cat has large, round, dark eyes, a pink nose, and prominent white whiskers, giving him a wide-eyed, relaxed, slightly curious expression. One front paw is extended forward in the foreground, while the rest of his body trails softly out of focus behind it. In the background, a softly blurred living space includes shelving, warm-toned furniture, and cozy decor, with gentle indoor lighting that emphasizes the cat’s plush fur and calm, comfortable mood.

Theodore is really leaning into spooky season!

A chocolate-and-white exotic shorthair cat lounges on a mid-century modern wooden pet bed under warm red and purple lighting. The cat looks alert with wide amber eyes, paws neatly tucked beneath its chest. In the background, there’s a wooden dresser and a brown leather bean bag, while Halloween-themed plush toys shaped like jack-o’-lanterns sit nearby on the floor, adding a festive touch.

It’s truly SO FUN when everything gets picked up off the floor to vacuum.

Two cats are on a neatly made bed in a cozy, warmly lit bedroom. An orange tabby exotic shorthair stands on a stack of small boxes and cushions at the foot of the bed, while a chocolate-and-white tuxedo exotic shorthair sits upright on a set of gray pet stairs near the head of the bed. The room features mid-century modern decor, including framed desert artwork, a mustard yellow accent chair, and a large photo of rocky formations above the upholstered headboard.

Everybody loves the pleather (sorry, “vegan leather”) beanbag chair!

A chocolate-and-white tuxedo cat lounges comfortably on a large caramel-colored faux-leather bean bag chair. The cat’s white paws and chest contrast with its dark fur, and it gazes calmly toward the camera with a relaxed, slightly sleepy expression.

Morning Sunbeam + Wicker Chair _____________________ 😸 😸

Two cats lounge in a sunlit corner of a cozy room. An orange exotic shorthair sits upright on a wicker chair with a red patterned pillow, gazing out toward the window. On the floor beside the chair, a chocolate-and-white tuxedo exotic shorthair sits in the patch of sunlight, looking slightly downward. A colorful pillow with tiki face designs rests against the chair, and a carved wooden toucan statue with a beaded necklace stands nearby, adding a tropical accent to the warm scene.

Franklin is doing a routine inspection of the new curtains. 🧐

An orange Exotic Shorthair cat with a round face is climbing onto a cat tree by a window. The cat has one paw on the sisal post and the other stepping onto the platform, looking down with a curious but slightly grumpy expression. The scene is framed by textured brown curtains, with light filtering through the blinds behind.

Getting a little sassy on the ottoman. ✨

A fluffy ginger Exotic Shorthair cat lounges on an orange ottoman, sprawled out with back legs extended behind like a frog. The cat gazes sleepily over its shoulder with a grumpy but endearing expression. A cream-colored blanket is draped casually over a matching orange sectional in the background.

The boys have both been practicing stowing away in my backpack in advance of my 1-night business trip later this month.

A fluffy orange tabby cat with a flat face and large, expressive eyes is nestled inside a gray backpack with a black-and-white striped interior. The backpack is partially unzipped and resting on a carpeted floor next to a wicker piece of furniture.

We store our cats vertically around here as a space-saving measure.

A photo of two cats. One — a chocolate and white tuxedo exotic shorthair — is laying on top of an orange-upholstered ottoman. Another — an orange tabby exotic shorthair — is laying underneath the same ottoman, and facing the opposite direction. Both cats are looking directly at the camera.
