Above the small horror, in the handwriting of Alex Horne, is "Yes,", and below the expertly rendered flinch-encouraging oddity, and also curving slightly around it, is the rest of the sentence "everything's fine." It is in the same writing. There is a veeeeeery fine line bisecting the letters horizontally, curving as well. "Yes, everything's fine" is a phrase squeaked out by a drunken Alex Horne, wearing a suit in a creatively filled bathtub, to a small yellow rubber duckie that he has parked on his chest (potentially next to some canned ravioli or something), during a chaotic game of No More Jockeys, with Tim Key and Mark Watson. The googly eye-mouthed duckie was on the receiving end of a stilted conversation with Armando Iannucci and 472 standing socks in episode 7 of series 21 of the show Taskmaster. This duck may possibly have a history of gang involvement via Susan Wokoma. Wanna Patatas? The maker, Hansa Creations had stopped making them, but I reached out, and found out they were already bringing some back due to demand (for *some* reason 😏!) There's more info in the ALT text, because I don't want to work out how to break it all up into multiple posts. 😅

After searching for a over a year, we saw a listing for a found one on Vinted, posted by an incredibly lovely UK fellow fan who searches him out for those of us without, which prompted us to finally write to see if Hansa was still allowing special orders, and the finder was also kind enough to hold onto him long enough for us to get a reply. It turns out, there has been enough interest in 4223 Red Cat (shocking! 😁) that they'd already decided to bring in more, and they arrived on Wednesday the 12th! He is $84.95 plus shipping. Pets with human names. My other cat is Torsten, named after a Conrad Veidt character who wanted to murder his child nephew for an inheritance. And also handsomely wore a tuxedo. (Ours is a tuxie.) We've also had an Alex and an Oscar (though we didn't name him.)

A (frankly too) large antique, gold, baroque style frame hangs on a wall. It has natural age-related distressing. There are some pesky reflections in its glass. In the frame are four items, matted with an upper mat of muted-metallic-gold-mottled black and an inner mat of bold red. At the top, in the center, is a red wax seal that is about 1.5" wide (3.81cm, Jason) and has TM stamped into it in a seriffed font. Below that is a tour poster for the 6 Taskmaster Live On Stage shows from January 2026. It is signed by both Greg Davies and Little Alex Horne. Below that is a photograph of OP, her sister, Alex, and Greg, standing next to each other in a bar in NYC. Below the photo print is another TM wax seal, otherwise known as a 'red sweet'. I don't know what it tastes like, and it's behind glass now, so I never will.

Well, I guess I live in NYC now. All of our travel has been repeatedly cancelled due to the storm. Maybe I'll actually get some sleep now, and then try to catch up on my notifications and desperately hope that we don't lose power at home. Taskmaster Trip continues, but Taskmasterless.

Two antique dainty ladies' hand belt buckles (one in a very dark bronze color, and the other a gold-ish brass) surround and appear to lightly hold on to two Taskmaster wax seals, and a sparkly felt wax seal patch, all on a dark wood tabletop. I'm so tired.

Stained glass Highland Cow commission! This coo is painted with Reusche glass stainers colors mixed with lavender and clove oils, and then kiln fired for permanency. He was loads of work, but also fun because you have a ton of time to look at cute animals and breathe in lovely calming scents? 😆
