I would point out that even though 2 different people read the exact same book, their experiences with it will be superficially the same, but in reality each interpretation will be different because people bring different perspectives to what the books says.

Unfortunately its the people at work....ugh, bugs the heck outta me, I'm one of those who doesn't automatically reply all, dont, forward jokes, I keep my message to a minimum, and rarely send more emails than necessary. Yet, I find I have to follow up in person or via messaging. Annoying as heck.

And now, email is no longer good for communicating, because no one reads them anymore. If u got something important, make sure it's right there in the subject or you'll never get an answer.

The data center build up will fail, at some point all these data centers being built will be closed down, either because AI crash, or better technology. WTH r u supposed to do with the building after? And all that promised money - gone when they declare bankruptcy.

Every time I hear guys defending a man/men accused of SA, I know the only reason they do it is because at some point in their lives, they themselves were guilty of being in similar questionable situation, making the same wrong choices. So its not the accused men they are defending, its themselves.

I have my version of a palate cleanser-I call it a Brain Cleanser, usually use kitten videos, sometimes a short time of fictions reading, fun news, etc. Either way it helps me with a fresh clean transition from one task to another each day.

So I started reading Ann McMan's novel The Malign Ghosts of Summer. I recommend her novels to anyone who likes a well written book. Bear in mind its GLBTQ centered. But, beyond that it's also a historical novel, set in beginning of the 20th Century. Read it, its genuinely a good book.

So, just got my second knee replacement done (other knee was 4 yrs ago), i'm recovering much more quickly that I did the first time and I finally feel like I have things to look forward to again, hiking, photography, camping, getting out there once again. Just in time for retirement in a few years.

I absolutely agree with you on this, the advances we 'were' making in bioscience is incredible, and its a shame more advances will likely to be delayed for years. Current battery capability is holding back advances in bioscience, transportation and micro computing. Thats where money should be going

A prediction for 3 yrs from now. Either Venezuela or Gaza will enact a non-extradition law. Trump and his family and many current administration appointees will move there, and they will consolidate control. It will be controlled by resident billionaires and will be tax free to the billionaires.

AI is here, its not going away, the key is to differentiate between AI generated art (any kind) and human generated in a way that is clear to all. AI generated will end up being fairly generic when it comes to creative creation. Human generated will become more un-touched.

I have to agree, I was talking to 2-25 yr old men, We were discussing the time where the Norweigans (?) found some college boy raping a young woman who was passed out. They argued nothing wrong with what the rapist was doing. The only reason had to be cause they done something similar before.
