Added £10k to TR Property #TRY (European exposure). Hoping the discount to the discounted holdings provides some sort of buffer whilst picking up >5% yield. Got burnt with #EBOX story of high replacement costs being a barrier so 🤞the rent indexation elements work. Total £60k now.

Thrown £10k at #RESI in the SIPP at ~8p (to bump it up to 12k). Hoping they sell remaining illiquid assets at more than 30% of book (~33p). Asset Value Investors increased to a substantial ~20% holding. Can afford to wait and don't need any divis. Risk is the wind-down costs.

Allocated 20k to #CVCG in the income ISA a couple of weeks ago and exited 15k #BPCR today. Discount has narrowed and not too keen on the dollar exposure. Wouldn't normally worry about currency risk (all out in the wash) but, well, Trump and $40Trillion 🤔

#LIVE shares landed. Been looking at deal, partially with AI help(?!). £92m long term (2043) debt taken on offsets refi of the rest at 2.74 over next 7 yrs. Refi at 5% knocks 1.51 off EPS.

Exited #THRL in Mrs RI's SIPP after 6 years of holding. Could do an (index linkedish) job when SIPP was for income, but running it down to zero now - may add to #TRY for some capital growth in same sector. That can wait until after the usual Friday Iran shenanigans...

Not sure how anecdotal this experience is, but it feels like I see a lot of exhortations to book van-sites etc... over the peak summer period. Pub at Maesbury Marsh commented how quiet it all was (poss due to canal subsidence). Everywhere just feels quiet 🤔

Been scratching the AI surface to expand my invstmnt candidates: 1) AI is sometimes plain wrong like presenting wrong ticker 2) Will sometimes only admit to an error when pushed I can check output but in a subject I don't know, it's potentially worse than useless until I know the prompt to use 🤔

It's been somewhat liberating to leave the PFs alone for a while. Lumped another 25k into RL xtra yield fund in SIPP a few weeks back. Just top-sliced 5k of #SDLF back to 20k in income ISA, mainly due to not liking >20k in a single company.
