Sony, if you want money, you need customers. You can't get customers if you price those customers out. If you price them out, they can't afford to pay for your products. If they don't pay for your products, you lose money. If you lose money, you lose business. Stop hating your source.

Heroes of Megatoweropolis, where Ninja Turtles, Sonic, and DBZ have a pizza party with Captain Underpants and OK KO to create something that would make Newgrounds blush

000

thereel1 @thereel1real.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

honestly, it's gonna take a miracle to get my motivation back up. i don't like taking breaks because i'm scared i'll never come back. i just...i dunno

010

thereel1 @thereel1real.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

me and samantha's voice actress talked about ways to improve the pacing. she's been very helpful (her and tagh, especially) in shaping later seasons to be better paced. i want to make more side comics and shorts as well, but i'm really demotivated.

000

thereel1 @thereel1real.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

i wont even lie: the first few episodes look rough and the pacing could've been slower. i was in such a rush to get something out the door that i didn't want to waste any time, fearing i'd hit a snag before i ever finished. that fear still haunts me to this day.

000

thereel1 @thereel1real.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

i just want to be recognized as an indie animator. seeing magical girl start out as animatics encouraged me. i thought i could turn a budget constraint into a style. i just want people to recognize that instead of going "boo where's the color"

Trying to be active everywhere at the same time feels like a fruitless effort when only one place is viable and only when you're one specific thing. It feels like I'm not allowed to be myself sometimes.
