Design for sea of thieves sail competition. The sails feature a silhouetted kraken design against a yellow sun and pink sky. Sea gulls can be seen in the sail above the main sails. The top sails are darker with a four pointed star emblem on them.

First attempt at this. Used a Kraken tentacle and a cutlass to evoke a "9" (based on my own pirate flag I designed). On the galleon, there are also 9 visible stars. Gold, black and white colours chosen to go with the existing Golden Sailor Set. #SoTSailDesignComp #SeaOfThieves @seaofthieves.com

TIL the WARDOGS game devs, BULKHEAD, also made The Turing Test and Pneuma: Breath of Life... then they started making FPS games... that's some pivot. As puzzle games go though, those were pretty decent. Certainly, I'd recommend The Turing Test to anyone looking for a Portal-like.

I think a lot of people under-estimate the risks of AI because they're (AI) not intelligent like we'd expect from an exisitential threat. None of the models are AGI, and likely never will be, but that's worse. They're not smart enough to be reasonable and just do what they're programmed to do.

Thanks to @presjr88.bsky.social, managed to narrow this down to an issue with saving too many custom values. Got around it by turning off NPCs except HC, and only setting non-fish HC treasure to 0. So preset saved... but separate bug found: only Treasured Fish score silver, not legacy fish! 😭

Seeing people comparing Voidling Bound to Pokémon x Skylanders... For me, I'm definitely getting PvZ: Battle For Neighborville (PvE) vibes from the gameplay and how different each character/species plays. Good fun. Enjoying it a lot. Though I do think the audio mix/design could do with improving.

Rolled credits on 007 First Light. Not without some tech issues but still thoroughly excellent. Depending on how you play, it's similar to Uncharted or Deus Ex, with some light Hitman DNA. GOTY contender. Can also see one or two VAs of the year in it.

Finished Call of the Elder Gods. I thought it was pretty good with some tricky puzzles. The story was decent, though playing Call of the Sea first is what I'd recommend. Just some weirdly-timed voicelines but otherwise very good VA. Graphics are stylised but pretty. For me, it's an 8/10. YMMV.
